El sazon mexicano

Went for breakfast. They were only serving the buffet and no a la carte. Simply put, the food was horrendous. The offerings were cheap stews that had been reheated multiple times and pulled straight from the fridge to the chafing dish, rendering them mostly cold. Service was indifferent. Pozole was the only hot item and was acceptable at best. Substandard for a soup kitchen catering to homeless people let alone a restaurant. Don’t waste your time or money. Was good a year ago. Unfortunate… La comida está horrible!!!

I don’t know what happened but the quality of this place went down… no toppings to my tacos and I received an uncomfortable question and comment around my ethnicity by one of the staff.* *This review is for the Taqueria location. Response to Owner: I've had taco's at your location previously where there was at minimum some onions and cilantro, which there were not this time around. My apologies if it was a client, I assume it was a staff member as this person was going in and out from the kitchen.

How disappointing this restaurant. We were excited to try the authentic Mexican food and my husband, mother in law and myself got very sick with salmonella. The food is not properly heated. There is a lack of sanitization in this restaurant. I do not recommend. Stay away from this place.

I was looking for mexican food that tasted like the food I used to eat in Mexico City. Finally, I found it in The Sazon Mexicano. Great taste, friendly staff, and great diversity of food.

Took my family there, we had the buffet: eggs, rice with tomato sauce, black beans, chilaquiles and mole enchiladas, there were other dishes like steak with onions and chillimeat in a wheat tortilla. The food was very salty, greasy and (some dishes) cold. The place was poorly ventilated and felt heavy inside, I wish they had something to circulate the air inside. The total amount paid was a bit expensive for what we got. When asking for the check I was just given the paying terminal with a net amount with no details (food prices, taxes, tip -which I even couldn't leave like at any other regular restaurant). I left a bit disappointed.

I'll be honest, this place is for drinking a lot, the food is neither bad or good, it's something that has nothing extraordinary about it, But if your intention is to drink and get so drunk with Mexican music and with many Mexican people, you are in the right place. I was a little disappointed with the "licuachela" since the price was too high ($35) for what they gave me (since it didn't have any gummy candy and they only put three chips on top)

Really delicious bakery shop and dinner and food! I love the sweets that are just the right amount of sweet and not overly sugary or with tons of icing. I had the sprinkle cookies and the specialty donut style bun (pan dulce "sweet bread") and both were delicious!! The staff was really nice and answered all of my questions. The takeout food looks and smells really good as well. I will definitely be back! I got photos of the menu and all of the various sweet treats that you can see. But we'll be back for food!! The entrance has a small door but is accessible with no ramp right directly from the street.
