El Greeko

This was terrible. I asked for prices just for a Gyro. I was given a terrible attitude, the guy spoke broken Enlglish. The food tasted like it was cooked the day before. I asked for a bag. It was not given to me, it was thrown to the counter so I would have to walk in the other side of the display to get it. Both people who were opening and looked mature, possibly the owners. A black woman and daughter ordered in front of me and you could see the workers discuss, as the way they looked at them. As I am also a minority. I was one of the first customers and the food was cooked, dry and burnt. Most likely from the day before. The food was terrible. However, if you go to the mall often you can obviously tell Europeans are more welcomed at there place. Just walk by and you can see for yourself.

im sorry but the food was not the greatest and not very authentic… i paid $5 for a scewer of chicken souvlaki with my chicken breast meal and both types of chicken was too dry. the spanikoptia was probably the saddest part because i could tell it had been out far too long after a few bites. the overall cost was too high for the food that was given and for that reason alone i will not be coming back…

The staff is very friendly and nice. However, the food is terrible. This is the worst Greek place I’ve ever been in my life. Won’t be buying here again, sorry…

I’ve been coming to the Sheridan mall/ food court for about 2-3 years now. For lunch I tend to always dine at ‘El Greeko’. I’ll head over to the food court just before Noon, It will get super busy! Their food has been consistently good with Excellent food portions, excellent customer service, and they’ve always been reasonable priced :)

The chicken was delicious but the quility, meh. Spent almost $30 on greek salads with chicken souvlaki on top and the amount of food was saddening. Barely filled the container. Service was friendly tho. Only real complaint is the amount of food given for the price. Imase shown is with nothing eaten yet.

Just finished my chicken Gyros dinner and love it every time I eat it. My whole family has been a loyal customer for 15 years and we have never been disappointed once! Meat grilled to perfection ,veggies always fresh, just heaven. Hand on my heart it it is the best Greek food in town❤️

Stay away. Food safety non-existent. Ordered bunch of items including Lamb shank. My daughter freaked out when she found bunch black long hairs that on top of the meat with tomato source. This was an Uber order, non of the instructions followed, a tiny piece of potato in each dinner. I doubt this restaurant practice food safety seriously. I thought nice to support local business during this pandemic this is what you get. Businesses starving for business during this hard times but when you give them a chance to make some money they spit you on your face. This is why you better off going with bigger more reputable places for service. At least you know what you are getting. Very disappointing…

Food is good, service is horrible , the staff speak to you without looking at you. No one says hi, no one smiles, for a mall where a lot of stores are closing, you would think the service would be better and they would want the business, or perhaps they just don't like people of colour. I definitely won't be bringing my business back there. It's not worth my money, and there's other places that have great food and service that are worth my time. I'll be passing the message on to others for sure. Update: My last review on this food place was 5 years ago, and I can honestly say, nothing has changed! Came back to see if they were still open, surely enough they are, even pretty much everything around them is closed and the service is still as horrible as I made a comment about 5 years ago, the women working here look so unhappy, and seems the service had gotten worse, which is surprising to say,really really surprised they're still in business, BUYER BEWARE!
