Very fun spot to bring groups of friends! We called to book for a large group, they kindly held our table even though we were late. We were seated upstairs, where they have long tables. There are complimentary side dishes, like butter corn, fries with fermented ketchup, popcorn, and shrimp chips. We ordered the army stew, rose tteokboki, Korean style beef sashimi, deep fried dumplings, and more. We felt a bit nauseous after the raw beef sashimi, so it may not have been a fresh as we liked. Otherwise everything was solid. The restaurant is very lively and chaotic, so it was hard to get the server's attention. Pay at the front counter when you leave, they kindly split the bill for our large group.

Ehwa Korean Restaurant offers a decent dining experience with a mix of pros and cons. The food is good but not outstanding, with some dishes standing out more than others. The flavors are authentic, but the overall execution could be better. Ambience is cozy but lacks a vibrant atmosphere, feeling a bit too quiet or understated for a Korean dining experience. Service is average, with staff being polite but not particularly attentive or engaging. Overall, it's a decent spot for a casual meal, but there's room for improvement in all areas.

Such a disappointment. Chic and cool interior but abysmal food. The cheese corn had to be a joke. So much mayo. Beef Korean pancake was literally an overcooked omelette with flaps of beef thrown in. There are much better restaurants that I've been to I probably wouldn't go to again, let alone coming back to this restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

This funky little gastro pub surely knows how to make an impression. It is not much to look at really. It is located in a long narrow building with crooked stairs and sticky floors, the weirdest layout. It was especially weird because of couple of big parties, so I cannot make out what the inside seating was like, but I think there are more seating on the back space then the main dining room. I wonder what happens during those long winter months. The Korean offerings here are basically restaurant/street food. We tried some fried chicken, sweet and sour, deep fried to perfection with the right amount of breading and crisp, the sauce was decadent, mouth watering, along with a few deep fried rice cakes. The pork belly duruchigi had a good kick to it, basically just pork belly, kimchi, onions and green onion. The kicker is always the sauce, which is based off Soy Sauce, Gochugaru, Gochujang, Sugar, Maesil, Mirim and the standard Garlic and Ginger. It is nothing complicates but very tasty. The Spicy Chicken with Rice Cakes has basically the same sauce, then chicken was char grilled, it was awesome. I wish they serve just the chicken. The weirdest thing, they don't serve Korean beers but everything else! Overall, solid 4 ⭐, especially if you want to eat after 10pm and for a big group gathering.

Always a great time for drinks and snacks! I came here on a Friday night and it was a full house as expected. Luckily I booked a table in advance and was able to get seated immediately. My favorite thing about this bar is the free appetizers that they give, which includes fries, popcorn and butter corn (changes from time to time). Great spot in the summer as they have a nice patio in the back. Sometimes Servers may be hard to flag down if you're upstairs. Would recommend as a great place to hang out for drinks and would always come back.

I went with my friend for lunch and it was a great experience! The atmosphere was cozy with velvet seats against the walls and historic decor. The service was amazing. We got a bonus side dish which came before the food we ordered. Our dishes came out promptly but it did not compromise the quality. For two people we ordered the cheese pork cutlet and the creamy hamburger steak. If you like both cheese and cream sauce, these are two dishes I'd recommend! Both were delicious in their own way. The cheese pork cutlet was so soft because the pork portion was the base for a generous layer of cheese! The creamy hamburger steak is a patty on a flat bed of rice, which makes for a surprising good combo. Sharing the two dishes was surprisingly a good portion for both of us. If you leave a review for their restaurant I'm told they give you dessert. Will definitely go back to try the other dishes on the menu!

I sometimes get takeout from this place. I really enjoy the boneless chicken. Fresh and crispy. Pretty decent prices too. Tastes fresh and clean, but gives me a little heartburn compared to bbq chicken.
