Food was not good. Ordered a hot chocolate and when I asked them to add whipped cream to it they returned with what looked like whipped cream if it was left in the sun. I ordered a signature breakfast (Sunny-side, 3 eggs), the eggs, bread, and home fries were cold and the sausage very oily. I also got a BLT which was just a piece of toast bread that was not crispy with no real taste. Service was also not good as they gave me no time to read the menus and kept on asking me what I wanted despite telling them I needed more time. The staff were trying their best but they were understaffed and it seemed as though they just wanted my money and me out of there so they can just keep making more money. Finally, the atmosphere was not good, it looked very dirty, disorganized, and a diner that needed a good cleaning. All in all, I paid $34 for bad food, bad service, and a bad time. Would not recommend.

Today, we had breakfast with my family at this location. The waitresses were very kind, but the bread was spoiled. I reported this issue, and the waitresses were very diligent in resolving it, but it was clear that the chef or manager didn't care much about our complaint, as she didn't give it much importance. It was really disappointing not to receive at least an apology from the lady.

I have been coming here since it opened on a regular basis. The owner is super friendly & remembers customers names. The waitress " Twinkle" is a joy. Food is consistently good, well displayed & hot. Pricing is very fair. Alot of repeat customers. I've been here 100+ times. Highly recommend.

I ordered a bogo via Uber. I only received one. They informed me I wasn’t able to avail the bogo because I have to order 2 instead of 1 to get bogo. They asked me to call Uber to fix the problem. I tried the food thinking maybe It’s alright to pay for the item even I didn’t get the Bogo Deal. But the food wasn’t even edible. Potatoes tastes like they were fried in old oil and it has a rancid after taste. I paid 27$ for the Salmon Eggs Benedict. I feel scammed.

I asked for my eggs over medium… this is like before over easy. I’m pregnant and just wanted some breakfast 😭 I really did try to eat it but 1) you’re not really supposed to eat over easy eggs when pregnant and 2) just watching the yolk drip out made me nauseous. I’ve been here for like half an hour just looking at my plate and nobody’s come to wait on me. Also why are the blasting classical music? I’m sad.

This EggSmart is nestled in the metropolitan area of Yonge & Sheppard. My husband has the big breakfast and I got the beef barbacoa Benedict. Our server was friendly and quick. The food came out fairly fast as well! It hit the spot. We will definitely be back!
