Amazing all day breakfast spot. I drive down from north Etobicoke just for this place. Can’t believe what it has become over the years. Retro dinner atmosphere with extremely polite waitresses. Tripled their menu size/options. Here’s a picture of my desert after my breakfast!

Similar to the other reviews below, the best and most affordable breakfast in Toronto. The owner is extremely down to earth and says hi to everyone who comes into the restaurant and makes you feel very welcomed. We went here for brunch twice and will definitely be back. A place that is a gem in Toronto!

Great vibes inside this cute diner! The food was good - we got the Meat Lovers Omelettes and the Eggs Benedict. The servers and the owner are very welcoming and kind! 👍

We went here for breakfast recently because we were in the area. When you walk in, at first it feels like a convenience store, but the staff promptly seated us and gave us menus. There is table service here, and the server was very friendly. The food was delicious, potatoes were perfectly cooked, eggs too. Prices are very good here too. We will be back!

My breakfast was amazing 🤤….I’m not even an egg fan. I Eat egg maybe once a year, if that! I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss omelet and it was even better than I expected no exaggeration 10/10! My breakfast was nice and hot. It was a clean environment and my server was helpful and made my decision easier because I am a bit indecisive🤭… but with that being said, I definitely recommend this place! chef’s kiss

Steve is such a sweetheart, extremely warm and caring and considerate, he took time to come and chat with us. As well as each and every customer at his place, not only us. Very unusual and very appealing act as an owner behavior. His restaurant is clean and vibrant, filled with smiles and kindness. Elaine who served us is friendly and professional too. Prices are unbelievably reasonable for Toronto, we got traditional breakfast for 8.99 that is unheard of anywhere else. Food was good. But most importantly the atmosphere and home-like vibes. We also found out that both of us knew Steve from years ago and sharing memories was fun! Will definitely return as well as recommended it to everybody I know. Xoxo

The best classic and affordable breakfast in town! We ordered the Big Grill Breakfast and the Hercules burger and both were 10/10. Love the retro vibe. Our server was very friendly and the owner Steve is just amazing! I plan on coming back!

Video and variety store turned brunch destination! We went for brunch on Christmas Day and got a booth for 4 immediately. The server was friendly and cheerful, and everyone wore Christmas-themed hats! We had the $10.99 big grill breakfast, $13.99 steak and eggs, and $10.99 spinach and feta omelette. The food was decent all-around with nothing really standing out. The bacon was pleasantly crispy and not to the point of being crunchy, and was a bit on the greasier side but tasted good. The ham had a pleasant amount of saltiness. The sausages were cooked well with a crispy surface. The eggs were pretty typical. The home fries weren't bad, but I prefer smaller chunks and more seasoning. I was told the steaks were well cooked and had a nice texture and taste. The main selling point of this brunch spot is that it has incredible value and great people. If you want a no-frills brunch at an exceptionally low price, look no further. The people there are friendly and hard-working. The owner stopped by to ask how everything was, and we had a nice chat with him. We'll return if we're around the area for brunch again!
