I love Edo, it's a terrific chain that I have enjoyed since childhood. I don't have any issues with the food quality and I hope this location sticks around for a long time. I do feel however that the portions here are very small and if you opt for sumo size or double chicken, prepare to be disappointed as this location will serve you the same portion regardless if you pay the extra money for more. The location in the Pickering Town Center serves almost double the size the portion that is served here so I do feel they are taking the downtown customers for a ride. Hopefully the owners will see this and make adjustments.

I ordered a sushi platter from Edo Japan at 452 Yonge Street and was very pleased. The platter was beautifully presented with a variety of rolls.The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The staff were friendly and efficient, making it a great experience. Highly recommended for fresh sushi in a casual setting.

I went here with my mom because I had a feeling the food is good......and my feeling was right ! I ordered their Beef Sukiyaki and it's so delicious. Love the vibe of the place too ! Clean and tidy. The service is also unquestionable. Will definitly go back !

Just had a great meal at Edo Japan in Toronto Downtown, and I tried only the chicken items. The restaurant was clean and modern. The staff was super friendly and quick. The **Chicken Teriyaki Bowl** was fantastic! The chicken was juicy, and the teriyaki sauce was just the right mix of sweet and savory. The **Chicken Yakisoba** also hit the spot with its perfect noodle-to-veggie ratio. The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was the star of the show. Wish the portions were a tad bigger, though. Edo Japan is a go-to spot for tasty chicken dishes. I’d definitely recommend it!

Cheap sushi but not very good one. I got veggie package which was 11$ for 20 pieces, however, they were small and okay. Only the one with the yam was a bit tasety. The shrimp tempura was okayish too. The sitting area looked cool with funny pictures:) Staff were efficient and friendly:)

Food was quick to serve and tasted delicious. Employees were kind, and checked in on how the food and service was. They were happy to answer any questions when needed. Ruby tended to one of our orders, and she was helpful. Prices are reasonable, and perfect for a lunch with friends. Would go again; 5/5 stars.
