Eden Trattoria

I recently dined at Eden Trattoria and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I received my entree as a main dish, which was unexpected and detracted from the overall meal. While waiting for my order, I sat and watched everyone else eat, which only added to my frustration. The service fell short of expectations; I've had better experiences at other casual dining spots like East Side Mario's. I hope they can address these issues for a more enjoyable experience in the future.

Great service and good Italian food. The ‘warm mushroom salad’s is highly recommended. Both our pasta dishes were also well made. Good portion sizes for the charge.

Horrible service at this so called luxury restaurant unfortunately. We waited couple minutes at the entrance to finally greeted by staff who were so not friendly and rude and then directed to a table. Few minutes after we sat on one of the tables at the patio my girlfriend saw a rat wandering around and got very scared. She panicked and the waiter noticed and when we mentioned it he said it’s normal patio is an outdoor place and because it’s close to bushes it’s completely normal and he was like everyone knows there’s mouses here it’s usual in summer time. So he moved our table a bit farther hoping they will be no rats playing around. But sadly we saw few baby rats going around again so the whole time my girlfriend was stressed and staff didn’t care and acted as if this is very normal. I know patio is an outdoor space but is it normal having to fight the flies and push them away from our food with one hand and grabbing the food with the other hand? It doesn’t end here, we order a pizza with our own toppings, my girlfriend emphasizes that she likes a very cheesy pizza so the waiter suggests to add extra premium cheese topping called Bocconcini which is very thick layer of cheese on the pizza along with the free mozzarella cheese that comes with it. HOWEVER, when our order arrives we see barely any cheese on the pizza literally a VERY THIN layer of cheese, to be honest a basic Domino’s pizza would definitely beat this pizza in terms of being cheesy and deliciousness. So we call the waiter asking what the matter is since there’s close to no cheese on the pizza he says oh this is very normal because you guys chose pesto base sauce the cheese gets dried and absorbed by this sauce that’s why it is dry and no cheese we’re like what??? He is like yes the cheese is more visible on a tomato sauce base pizza. Seriously? Why can’t you admit that the chef did not put enough cheese??? I’ll be very honest, they did not put close to enough cheese for some reason!!! So we send the pizza back and chef puts some Mozzarella cheese as you can see on the pics and puts it back into the oven. But when the pizza came it lost its taste and all we could taste was thin overcooked pizza dough with mozzarella cheese. Unbelievable… My girlfriend and i are very disappointed, we had different expectations from this place, staff, food, customer service and etc but we were wrong. Unfortunately the pizza they brought to us is not even comparable to pizza pizza or domino’s and etc. Such a bad decision deciding to visit this restaurant thinking it’s gonna be a special night. Avoid this restaurant at all costs, don’t get fooled by the view or the location of the restaurant. It is totally not WORTH it. We regret it. I hope things get better at this restaurant. Will never come back. Thanks for reading!!

The mushroom bruschetta was really good and the restaurant is in a great location. The rest of what we ordered was okay but could be much better. The seafood spaghetti with white wine sauce had good seafood but lacked Italian herbs. Greek salad would need better feta cheese, fresher veg and the gnocchi was too doughy and the presentation was not there. Olive oil - please get a better one.

During our recent visit to Eden Trattoria Italian, we had a delightful dining experience that left us eager to return. We started our meal with the bruschetta for an appetizer, which was a perfect blend of fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic atop crispy bread. For our main courses, we enjoyed the wild mushroom truffle risotto and the seafood ravioli. Both dishes were exceptional. The risotto was creamy and rich, with the earthy flavor of wild mushrooms and the decadent touch of truffle. The seafood ravioli was equally impressive, featuring perfectly cooked pasta filled with a flavorful seafood mixture. Our waitress, Bella, provided impeccable service and was super friendly throughout our meal. Her attentive and warm demeanor added to the overall positive experience. While dining, we were entertained by what I believe was the owner or manager speaking to a group of diners behind us. His storytelling was captivating, particularly the tale about custom shoes for a very special client. This added a unique and enjoyable element to our evening. After our amazing meal, we took a leisurely walk in Parklawn and enjoyed an espresso. This combination of great food and a scenic walk makes Eden Trattoria Italian a perfect spot for anyone in the mood for Italian cuisine followed by a relaxing stroll. We highly recommend making a reservation, as the restaurant can get crowded. Eden Trattoria Italian has become our regular spot when we are in town, and we cannot wait to return. Highly recommended!

Yep, good view of the lake, great service, and ambiance. The quality of food was amazing. Pizza was on point 💯👌. Fish n chips were good, n so was the Calamari. I was hungry, food looked so good n so I forgot to take the pics 🤷🏾

I had dinner here along with a large group of people celebrating a birthday. Despite the large group, our server was stay on top of things and ensure our food was delivered in a timely and well-organized manner. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and vibe and the food was very enjoyable. Hope to return again soon to enjoy some of the other menu items.

Family lunch outing at this place was perfect. Great food options, nice view and friendly service. Can’t wait to come back again. The food was so delicious, good portion size and not overwhelming. Pricing is fair for the quality of food you get. The only thing that wasn’t too our liking was the Italian apple dessert but we would probably try their tiramisu next time. Our salmon and lamb chops were cooked to perfection. Our pastas were flavourful but could do with a little less sauce. Overall very good experience even on a very busy long weekend outing.
