Ewwww… Meat were leftovers and microwaved. Left without eating. Fingers woth black nails were dipped in rice and soup when served. outta of my comfort zone and imagination how bad it was

Probably will never return again.. Went in on Friday Saturday evening around 6pm for some roasted pork take-out The place was empty, most of the lights were tuned off… They tried to upsell me the rib section, I didn’t even feels comfortable buying anything at all at that time… Anyways.. the roasted pork was not good, mainly because the skin was chewy instead of crispy Didn’t come with the sweet seafood sauce that it usually comes with The service wasn’t bad, 1.5 stars rounding up to 2 stars

The food is not good and the drink like water. Never go there again. The price is expensive, compared with the others chinese restaurant.

If you see the reviews you’ll notice the comments fall on two extremes, but we decide to give a try with the hope that such a rough restaurant must have some distincts to survive in this plaza that full of various Cantonese cuisine. After we tried a BBQ rice combo, I’d say the BBQ/roasted duck is super delicious, more on the sweet side, not salty at all, just perfect. but the amount they gave is not quite generous as some other Contonese BBQ stands. Other than the above, the sanitary circumstances is really a concern, as we see the chef didn’t wear an apron or chef hat and we found a strand of hair at the bottom of our combo, yuks. The waitress may only speak/understand Cantonese, they put chicken instead of beef which we ordered. The Chicken is not tender at all and Chia Shao is on average level. Probably will come again only for the roast duck.

We bought a combo at this place. We asked for chicken and duck combo. The chef came out with a very dirty apron. That sort gave a hint why there was absolutely no one was inside. He seemed had a hard time to find a piece of duck, and finally started to chop. Then grab a piece of pork seemed frozen. And then we heard microwave ding ding….. yes he put the Styrofoam container into a microwave…….. then a cup of soup. At that point. My wife and I looked at each other. We paid $13 bucks. Grabbed it and threw it into a garbage bin nearby. We will never go back there for sake of our health. We recommend that you don’t either.

Please listen to the 1 star reviews and do not eat here. Foods were served messey and not fresh at all, likely the foods were left overs that should have been thrown out from previous days. Interior was bad and service was not good, and the chef looked like as if he had hygine issues. This establishment does not serve you the right stuff.

Economy, authentic Cantonese flavor. Menu with lots of choices, you name it… from cha siu to baked rice/spaghetti to wonton noodle to Chinese dish combo. HK milk tea is good! The couple owner is super friendly and generous. TV always on with the TVB favorites. Even though it calls itself 燒味鋪，it has more choices than a 茶餐廳。Give it a try and consider this an alternative next time the surrounding restaurants have long line up! It's not the cleanest, not the best service but definitely the most cozy comfy food with Hk local taste.

I would rate it negative if possible, this is the worst restaurant I have seen during my stay in Toronto. The waitress barely knows any English and only treated Cantonese speaking customers well. I was the first one to order the meal among the customers. while they served me for the last one. I waited for 30min without my breakfast served. Sine the waitress is not able to understand English, I asked her in Mandarin, she even didn't answer you if you speak Mandarin, although she understood. I had to give up this terrible order experience.
