The food is unreal. It was hard to pick a pita, and they don’t allow for mixing. I ended to going for the plant based chicken (mama,) but definitely want to come back for the cauliflower and eggplant ones. The plant based chicken tasted as real as it could be without dabbling into the uncanny valley as faux meats tend to do. The sauce was delicious and the perfect amount. Didn’t make a mess walking with this sandwich. Great pickles of some sort too. New favourite Toronto vegan place for a meal under 10$.

The food was very yummy, and I really loved the vibe! The Egyptian person working at the counter had great energy and was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience ❤️ We tried the Mama shawarma and Baba shawarma bowls. I have never thought I'd find good vegetarian shawarma after going vegetarian a few years ago. And this one was not only very tasty but it was vegan (the whole menu is!). Can't wait to try more items on their menu!

My wife and I had the Mama Shawarma, and it was awesome! The flavor was amazing and the staff/owners were super friendly! He even took a picture with my wife. We highly recommend this spot when visiting the Kensington Market neighborhood in Toronto!

One of the best plant based meals I’ve ever had! The chick’n shawarma was incredible, along with the falafels. 10/10 would recommend! The staff are absolutely wonderful as well! Leave room for dessert, if you can!

I ordered the "mama shawarma plate" for delivery and it came as tasty as it could've been! It was moist and had a wonderful mix of flavours. I really enjoyed the pickled vegetables and chips. I would definitely order form here again!

This Egyptian restaurant offers an authentic cultural experience through its cuisine and wall art. The ambiance beautifully reflects Egyptian culture. I tried the falafel, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and well-cooked inside, without being oily. The side dish paired wonderfully with it. Highly recommend for a genuine Egyptian culinary experience!

Most delicious food with Egyptian influence and a welcoming vibe! Trying to find something vegan in Kensington I came across this little spot tucked into Baldwin st and so happy I did! Ordered the Zaatar Cauliflower pita and it was packed with flavour from the seasoning, tahini and perfectly pickled vegetables. The zaatar fries were also so well seasoned. Looking forward to the next visit to try other things on the menu. The guy who served me was so kind and told me how this place came to be ~ the owner is an Egyptian woman who went vegan and created options that she loved. Happy to support a place like Eat Nabati that is rooted in authenticity.

tashakkor Super yummy, delicious and fully authentic VEGAN Egyptian falafel menu and incredibly friendly staff in a very honey, grassroots style quaint joint. No fuss, down to earth and solid food at reasonable fare, falafel was extremely fresh to order, piping hot on demand and out of this world flavor, one of the best I've had. They do need to improve the hot sauce however. Support local businesses!
