Had a bad experience overall! At entry, server asked cube for 4 works? What!! Should learn to tell what sitting options are, not all know what your sitting cube means! Served water without asking with or without ice! Had to change! Menu card color is badly designed! Choice of color - dark red on one side- doesn’t make clarity of menu options with what it includes! Hopefully one needs to be little upfront when server not able to make the visit comfortable!

The food was amazing!! The Service was phenomenal! Our server Meghan M was perfect. She greeted us with a smile and met our needs! It was very busy night and the staff all had smiles and greeted us even though it was busy. Thank you for the wonderful service. We will definitely be coming back.

Excelent service water was above and beyond, always paying attention and providing outstanding service. Portions are well served, all good is very good and the bread,... The garlic bread is addictive. And the little robot is cute and funny. Will surely come back.

HIGHLY disappointed is to say the least! My daughter chose here to eat for her birthday celebration. They first sat us in a booth with a booster with no buckle for our 15 month old son, had to ask to be moved. Once sat at another table our menus were taken away, had to wait for our waitress to replace them. My daughter's dinner came out before anyone else’s, so she had to sit and wait while the rest of us finished, our appetizer came to us literally a minute before our entrees, constant reminders for things forgotten, straws, salad, bread etc… we witnessed 2 tables (adult birthdays) have “happy birthday” sung to them by the staff and a dessert brought to them, however my daughter only got a candle in her ice cream which comes with the kids meal anyway and no singing, I guess they don’t sing to kids? She was really upset. The table next to us was being waited on promptly by someone not in uniform…GM perhaps? I wonder how anyone gets that kind of service. We have experienced issues in the past with this restaurant and thought we would give it another try as my daughter wanted to go, however never again! By the time we left it was after 8:30pm! I’d rather spend the amount of money we did somewhere else.

I’ve been to all East Side Mario’s location except here at Barrie. We were with friends on Thanksgiving weekend and we decided to dine here because it’s beside the hotel we stayed at. First of all, we were very very disappointed with the food. It so cold and tasteless we didn’t finish it. It’s looks and tastes like the food was just put in the microwave to heat it up, so disgusting. I will not recommend this restaurant at this location, go to Boston Pizza, or The Keg just not this restaurant if you’re in the area stay away from here.

I ordered 2 large pizzas for $25 each, they are priced gourmet but they are typical American style. At least they are supposed to be 14” each. Which should feed 4 people or more. They were 9” and some slices only had more sauce and no cheese which was a real disappointment. I’m not even complaining that they made a mistake with my order and I had to wait an extra 25 minutes, that stuff happens, but then to come home and have to go to pizza nova to get an extra pizza (because these were essentially child size pizzas) so that I can feed my guests was just disappointing.

Build your own pasta is awesome! The cacio & pepe with crispy chicken was delicious. Very big portions for the price, generous refills on salad/soup and garlic bread. Food was full of flavor and prepared well. Our server, Nicole was wonderful, timely, and kind. We were fascinated by the robot that does table side deliveries lol, was a first seeing that! We enjoyed this ESM location and will def come back another time.

Edit: Visited again Oct 2024, and had the Triple Threat Chicken Parm. Very tasty! Visited mid May 2024. The Cheese Cappelletti lacked a bit of taste but wasn’t bad. Service was good, atmosphere was good but can be a bit loud and distracting. The TVs everywhere are a bit of a nuisance when trying to get children to eat.
