Earls Kitchen + Bar

I visited Earls restaurant for my husband’s birthday. This wasn’t my first time at one of their locations, and it was a great experience again. I had fish, which was really nice, and my husband had a steak that was amazing. The oysters were fresh but a bit small. My friends also enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere was great, though it was a bit crowded and the music was loud, making it hard to chat. Overall, we had a really good time and enjoyed the food

Earls Kitchen is truly one of the best restaurants on King Street! It’s a top choice for American cuisine, with everything from the ambience to the service and food being absolutely spectacular. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, and the staff provides exceptional service. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Without a doubt, one of the best spots in Downtown Toronto. Highly recommend!

This New Earls location is not what I expected. We had a reservation for 7:15pm, to which they made sure to tell us we only had the table for 2 hours. No problem, we will be out as we were having dinner for a birthday. We are led upstairs to which I can only describe as intense club vibes. The music was extremely loud for 7:30pm. I thought this was a restaurant but it appears to be leaning more towards pre drinks before a club. The food was good, though the price is probably not worth it I would say. There are cheaper locations where you can actually hear the person beside you talking. Service was good, I can sense the servers all help each other out which is nice to see. I do appreciate that they actually do something for birthdays. Overall it’s a nice spot.

Great service with Francesca on Friday night! She informed us of all the delicious specials going on and suggested yummy drinks. The whole team at Earls helped celebrate my birthday which meant a lot! Love the bumping vibes here on a Friday night! Will be back for the great food, service and vibes for my next night out thanks to Francesca.

Unbelievable service and definitely 5 star review well deserved! We booked a table to celebrate a birthday. Upon our arrival the host team congratulated us, then server approached us with greets and congrats. When we seated, on our table we found a post card signed by Earls team with warm birthday wishes. Such a small thing but gives such great impression! We have visited so many restaurants even Michelin stared in Toronto but no one ever cared what we are celebrating however we always mentioned it while booking. Earls finally showed what a great service is! Food is also great quality, unexpectedly huge portions and we went home overly full 😅 Just removed 1 atmosphere star for super loud music while dining but it didn’t affect our general impression at all

We booked a reservation on Friday night for Happy hour (3-6pm), which is a pretty good deal. We got a gluten free margherita pizza, oysters, and steak fries. The gluten free pizza was pretty meh but they didn't charge us extra to make it gluten free which was great. The oysters were tiny and had so many shell pieces. I asked for a rare steak and it was overcooked. Taste was pretty average. Good value but the food is definitely nothing special. Friendly and attentive service, vibes are pretty lively on the weekends. There is an outdoor patio upstairs and on the sidewalk too.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Earls, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish! Our server, Sebastian, went above and beyond to make the evening special. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and had great recommendations that made our dinner even better. The food was absolutely delicious—everything from the appetizers to the main course was cooked to perfection, and the presentation was stunning. Sebastian ensured that all of our dietary preferences were met and was always on hand without being intrusive. To top it all off, they surprised me with a beautiful birthday dessert, making the night even more memorable. I also want to extend a huge thank you to the rest of the team, including their Guest Experience Manager, Cheyenne, who made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening. The entire staff truly made me feel celebrated, and their attention to detail was impeccable. I can’t recommend Earls enough for a special occasion, and a huge thank you to Sebastian, Cheyenne, and the whole team for making it such a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back!

Earls on King is now my fav Earls location in the GTA! It's spacious and very nice inside the restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate. The bar looks cool too! Service was top notch - very attentive and friendly. Definitely busy so make a reservation. The blackened Cajun chicken is my absolute fav. Delicious!!! Raspberry margarita was good too. Cheers!!
