I had an excellent experience at Earla's Kitchen, a wonderful Grenadian small business in Oakwood! Earla, the friendly owner, personally runs the place and brings authentic Caribbean flavours, and her own homegrown herbs including chadon beni, to every dish. The hot, prepared meals are just $15 cash, which is amazing value for the quality and portions. I highly recommend this casual spot (with several tables and seating) if you're craving delicious Caribbean food. I tried the pork, curry chicken, and callaloo with salt fish -- everything was packed with flavour and spice. I’m already planning to come back on a weekend to try the crab and pelau. 🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩 If you can't fly to Grenada, Earla's Kitchen is a must-visit!

Earla’s Kitchen has been on my radar since they opened, I literally live a 2 min walk away. The curry crab is absolutely divine, I had the last order of the day and I swear it was meant for me. The way I tore up that crab and dumpling?! I’ll be dreaming for some more. Incredible service, sweet and caring family, coconut tart was scrumptious. This is an absolute hidden gem!

Big up to everyone I met this evening, Busta, Kent, Earla, and Alisha. Food is amazing, curry crab with dumpling has to be one of the tastiest things I've had. If you want real Grenadian food, this is place to go, atmosphere was pure vibes and I can say I'll be back for some FRESH oil down. Nuff love to everyone I met here and nuff respect for the hosptality.

IF you want authentic Grenadian food - do not look any further. My first experience in this restaurant was beyond amazing measure. This restaurant and ambiance provides that friendly back home cooking vibe- I had to pinch myself to check if I was in the Caribbean. Everyone who enters - whether to dine-in or take-out greets you with a smile. Earla’s is definitely a gem to the community! Her passion for quality ingredients, cleanliness and appreciation for customers comes through in every order. I had the oil down and curry crab (to go) but several patrons were ordering various items off the menu. Bless up to Earla and her team for providing authentic Grenadian food without compromise on amazing customer service. Definitely will be back!!

Earla’s Kitchen is a great place to get authentic Grenadian food in Oakwood Village. Miss Earla is so kind and not only does she make some stellar food but she is very hospitable and provides excellent service. This place will have you feeling like you’re on the island with warm welcoming vibes.

Went here for the first time with my girlfriend and her mom to try some Grenadian food for a birthday and was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed the meal. We were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming and cheerful offering us a breakfast/ lunch meal that was spectacular. The fellow customers in the place were also very funny and regulars.pf the place that helped bring the spirit of the place out in a fantastic way. The food I had was a good spice level for someone who doesn't like spice but the spicy food sure was spicy!! Would recommend for sure to anyone in the area.

For the last 6 months I kept walking passed this new place on my way home from signing soul tunes at 2 in the morning and one day I said to myself, "Self" you need to try this place tomorrow. Today is that day and I walked though a little bit of January weather for Salt Fish with all the traditional provisions a Grenadian would eat - steamed banana, bread fruit, fried plantain with a side of vegetables. The bottle os hot sauce that Earla's daughter presented to me was home made and as I sank my teeth into the meal the smile of utter satisfaction and nourishment transported me to a sunny beach where my soul was home. The coconut strip Earla handed me at the end was the perfect goodbye to what I can say was one of the healthiest meals I have eaten in a long time. Thanks Earla!
