I have came for a friend’s DJ set. I ended up trying a chicken taco and friend tofu. The fried tofu was very good. A little bit on the saltier end, a little stinky probably from the aroma of the fish sauce. I personally liked it a lot, reminds me a little of the stinky tofu back in China. The chicken taco was loaded and was only $5 because of happy hour. The chicken was flavourful and not dry at all. A stunning experience for the price I paid which was $13 before tax and tips. I would really recommend their happy hour.

Right across from The Art Gallery of Ontario (The AGO), DZO is the perfect place to recharge and eat after immersing yourself in art. The decor really takes you back to possibly Hoi An or Old Quarter of Hanoi. The food was delicious. Fried chicken was juicy and crispy skin. The mango salad was a generous portion and very delicious. Service was great as well.

Right after walking in, I loved the atmosphere and cozy vibes of the restaurant. I got the dry spiced chicken pho and it was so yummy!!! The chicken and noodles were flavoured so well, and the texture of the noodles were cooked to perfection. I would definitely come again and try other options on the menu! :)

I recently visited this place for the first time with my friend. Generally, had a really good experience! We came during the happy hours and there were some pretty good deals, although still ended up paying around $30-40 per person for a few appetisers and 2 glasses of beer each. The food was great though! The atmosphere of the place was really nice and quiet, which might be only because there were not too many people at the time.

last week, i enjoyed my 20th birthday dinner at dzo <3 it's a small but beautifully-decorated spot across from the ago, primarily viet food with some other asian fusion flavours. i ordered the claypot special, and it was tasty, fatty, and a HUGE portion. the portions here are so big, in fact, that i would recommend sharing; 2 dishes and an appetizer would more than enough for 3 people. that aside, the claypot was bursting with flavour. the pork belly was tender and warm, with a hint of spice. i would have appreciated it if it was served a bit hotter, but that fact did not override it's quality. the highlight of the night was the cassava cake (complementary due to it being my bday !!) - absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. it might be the best cassava cake i have ever had.

Dzo offers a convenient location and decent viet food at a reasonable price. The food does not necessarily standout, but the portions are sizable and it's great to grab a quick bite. We got the dry pho and chicken noodle bowl, making one into a combo for fried spring rolls and viet coffee. The service was pretty fast and our items came quick. The coffee is very sweet, even more so than what I normally expect with viet coffee, make sure to ask for less sugar if you don't want basically coffee candy. I was skeptical at first but the dry pho is actually a very good mix of beef and saucy noodles, coupled with a concentrated flavourful size pho soup to complete the experience. The chicken noodle bowl is good too, strong lemongrass marinaded chicken with a mix of veggies and a spring roll. They served it with way too much vermicelli though. Overall, the food was decent, not necessarily somewhere I'd purposely take a trip for, but a good place to stop and grab a bite if you're in the area.

Tried this place 2 years ago; it was awesome. The brunch however is some of the worst Vietnamese food I ever had. We did not finish the food and spent over $100 CAD. I asked for recommendations then the server just walked away. Service continued to be bad the whole time. I regret going to this place. The noodles were dry and hard. Chicken tasted like dry chicken where you have to actively look for low quality. The bread tasted stales. What a waste of money.

Love everything here - the decor, the drinks, service, and the amazing food! The flavours are on point and I especially enjoyed the beef ribs (a must try). They have pretty good happy hour specials and the prices are quite reasonable Be sure to check out their hidden bar (open Thursdays - Saturdays) at the back if you dine here for a late dinner
