Ordered on Skip rice noodles with chicken and veggies. Rice noodles arrived in separate container - completely overcooked. Then I got another container with very weird looking sauce mixed with some veggies and little tiny maybe 5 pieces of something that was supposed to be chicken.. combined everything in a bowl.. awful meal.. just awful.. never again.

Preface this by saying we ordered on Christmas Day so I would give some leeway for being busy but looking at other reviews maybe not. Pan fried pork and chive dumplings arrived strangely browned and soaked in oil but eatable. The main problem was the roast duck & mixed veg dish. It arrived soaked in a gloopy clear sauce like mucous, and not in the way gravy/fat can gellify when its cold. Maybe I'm being an ignorant white woman here but it's quite disgusting just to look at let alone eat. The veg themselves seemed basically raw but fine and there was a good potion of meat, but the skin was all soggy. Most it is inedible, an absolute waste of money.

We ordered Ubereats takeout. This place messed up our order. We ordered chicken Chow Mein but they gave us over fried noodles with no chicken. Disappointing. We won't order from here again. Fyi the app gave us our money back for that dish.

The herbal chicken hotpot was closer to a sesame chicken hotpot. The flavor was good but the overall dish lacked cohesion and finesse. We were told we had to order a whole chicken even though they had half a chicken on the menu.

I was a bit off put by some of the negative reviews here but decided to give this place a try anyways. I ordered delivery directly through them and not through one of the other delivery apps. (I would recommend this btw). For one thing, I got my order and I called them after placing my order to ensure they saw it and were processing it after some of the negative reviews here but they told me they were already in the process of making it. Also, they say right on their site that delivery through them takes around an hour so you shouldn’t expect anything less. From the time I ordered to the time I got my delivery, it was an hour so I can’t blame them for being honest upfront. Food was reasonably priced considering everything has gone up in price these days. Portion sizes matched the prices and every dish was hot and tasty. The only one I didn’t quite like was the deep fried squid. I was hoping it’d be tender but it was a bit on the chewier side and it lacked salt. I would order from here again. Everything was packaged well, portion sizes were good, price was reasonable and food was tasty. Delivery was on time and seamless.

I can't speak to delivery or even takeout experiences because I always dine in (they have quite a few large tables available). Every time, I'm impressed by the price, portion size, quality, and flavour of the food. The best hot and sour soup in Chinatown (and I've been to A LOT of the restaurants in the area), the Japanese tofu was so silky and tasty, they're the only place I've seen in Chinatown that makes birds nest from taro, the handmade fried dumplings taste fresh and the dough is just chewy enough, the sweet and sour pork comes in a huge portion and tastes great, I've never had a bad dish from here. I want to eat my way through the entire giant menu.

Huge difference in takeout vs delivery. Ordered via Uber on a Wednesday night, delivery was real quick but the food was disappointing. Shrimp fried rice had only a handful shrimps hidden under a mountain of rice. Pretty sure the meat in the kung pao chicken was not chicken. It was shredded to such tiny pieces that there was absolutely no way to tell what the meat was. Flavours and portions were good but the overall experience could have been better if they had not skimmed on the main ingredients.

Food was great. I ordered a half chicken and it was moist and crispy. I also had the shrimp wontons. They were a disappointment because it was one or no shrmp inside the deep fried wonton wrapper. The lobster costs cheaper than most chinese restaurants and it tastes like the rest. Its a great place to eat when youre hungry at night
