I recently dined at Dum Pukht Indian Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, making it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, and I was especially impressed by their signature Dum Biryani. The flavors were rich, and the slow-cooked technique truly brought out the aroma and taste. Their tikkas and curries were equally delightful, with a perfect balance of spices. For vegetarians, the options were plentiful and delicious, particularly the chicken65 and dumbriyani. The service was prompt and courteous, with staff members attentive to our needs. Special thanks too VAneesh menu provides plenty of options for dinner. Overall, Dum Pukht is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. I highly recommend it for its quality, flavors, and overall dining experience.

I celebrated my birthday and GK was the best server ever! So happy we decided to come here and happy I could be accommodated on short notice. Food was phenomenal, served hot. Flavorful and the right consistency. Service on all accounts was superb. There’s even a live DJ that plays on Fridays and Saturdays. I liked that the booths are large and perfect for families or friend groups! An unforgettable experience. Keep up the fantastic quality and shoutout to the service one more time!

I honestly found the food to be ok. I have had better North Indian food in Canada, since it’s a fine dining restaurant I was expecting a better experience. We ordered Hara bhara kabab which was good as a starter as our waiter didn’t take the order of Live chaat. Service was good but paneer tikka masala and makai kofta which were chefs special tasted more like elaichi which made it somewhat bitter aftertaste and were not spicy. Tandoori roti, lacha parantha and Moong daal halwa were ok. But if you are into true North Indian style cuisine, do think before visiting Dum Pukht as price is on a higher side.

We recently visited Dum Pukht and had such a great time. The food was incredible, the cocktails were great, and the service was super quick and friendly. We started with the Manchow soup, which was different from what I’m used to—it was white and less spicy than usual but still good. The Chicken Tikka and Chicken Hariyali Kebab were both fantastic—definitely 5/5! We also had Paneer ke Gulgule, which I’d give a 3/5 since it lacked spice, but the Gobi Manchurian was a solid 5/5, packed with flavor. The Fried Rice was delicious (4.5/5), and the Chicken Biryani was flavorful (4/5). We also had Kadhai Chicken and Garlic Naan, both of which tasted great, though the chicken portion could have been a bit more generous. To top it all off, they surprised us with a free birthday dessert, which was a really sweet touch! Overall, one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the GTA. Highly recommend checking it out!

Coming back from Muskoka, our whole group decided to have dinner at this restaurant. We ordered only tandoori veg momos for starters but then dived straight into main course. The momos chutney was awesome very close to Indian version but momos were not tandoori cooked in tandoor with no char or tandoor flavour. The main course was good. We ordered dal and paneer makhni, paneer tikka and chicken kadhai along with garlic and roomali roti and chicken and veg biryani. All the food was awesome and especially the daal makhni and paneer tikka. The portion size was little on the smaller side but totally worth it. The service was great and so was the ambience. Would highly recommend people to visit this place

Dum Pukht is a true gem! We started with the Veg Mixed Grill, and the star was definitely the Paneer ke Gugule—absolutely delicious. The Paneer Tikka Masala and Khoya Kaju Curry were rich and flavorful, and the Chicken Dum-Pukht Biryani was perfectly spiced. The breads, especially the soft Garlic Naan and Methi Naan, were excellent. Prakash, our server, made the experience even better with his warm and attentive service. Highly recommend!

Had the pleasure of dining in this wonderful Indian restaurant for the first time, located along Denison and Woodbine. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was served hot, fresh and at a timely manner. The restaurant was well maintained and clean, and enjoyed the time I was there immensely. I told my girlfriend and friends about it already, and look forward to visiting again soon. As an added bonus: I am extremely impressed with their takeout presentation. Never seen dedication in food preparation done this way before. Love it.
