Was very disappointed with this establishment. Organized a holiday work party here and my initial thoughts of the night was great until they unreasonably cut off the whole group. We were a group of 25-30 respectful medical professionals. NONE of us were drunk, rowdy or out of control. The bartender decided a few people from the group had ordered too many shots in a short period of time and cut them off which is fair, I can understand and respect that (even though no one was unruly and intoxicated). However, when another person from our group went to go get a drink from a different bartender, they took this as “going behind their back” assuming it was being delivered to these other individuals and cut off the entire group for the night. There was 30 of us. That decision was completely outrageous, extreme and unfounded. After speaking with the GM, she “had to support her worker’s decision” so not much was done to rectify the situation. I would not recommend hosting your event here even if it seems like a great space to do so. Look for a different venue with better customer service and based on other reviews, this experience is not isolated. Save your group the disappointment and take your party elsewhere.

What a great place this is! Especially if you want to go to a pub but have kids. You can take them! Lots for all to enjoy. Got the tunes, the great pub atmosphere with a twist. You can relax, have a drink, watch some sports while the kids yonge or old can run off and have some fun. They have table tennis, a small court to shoot some hoops, arcade games, etc. Can't go wrong. Didn't eat while there, but seeing the food others were having, it looked good. One thing for sure is, I will be back.

I always enjoy catching up with my old colleague, Francis. He has an insightful perspective on Toronto and knows all the best food spots and bars that I have yet to explore. One of these bars is Duke's—a fantastic place with a great atmosphere and delicious food, especially the wings. The bartenders are a lively group who can brighten your day, and they offer arcade games and other activities for entertainment. The space is quite spacious, with plenty of TVs for watching your favorite sports, making it a relaxed place to spend your time. So, unwind, be kind, and enjoy!

Fun atmosphere with arcade games and a small basketball area. Different from other bars downtown. Food was also good and our server was very attentive.

Overall, it was a great first experience at this bar! The service was a little on the slower side, although it did seem understaffed and it was quite busy. However, anytime we got service it was very friendly and our server was very knowledgeable with the menu. The various appetizers that our group ordered were delicious and brought out quite quickly. The quantity was also quite good for the prices charged. The atmosphere was very laid back with mostly 80s/90s music playing. We didn't play the arcade games this time, but they gave the atmosphere a nice touch. The washrooms were clean and so was the rest of the bar. It was a great choice for a get together with friends. Overall, a very good experience and we would return again!

Stopped in for a few drinks with some friends on a Saturday afternoon. Can't comment on food as we didn't have any but the beers were cold and the shots were cheap ($5 for whiskey). Service was fine but we were honestly a pretty low maintenance group that just had a couple drinks. What really sets this place apart from other bars in the area are the vibes. Music is more retro (80s and 90s rock) with TVs showing the original music videos which are cool. Also lots of activities within the bar too with table tennis, a basketball net, pinball, and arcade games.
