The food and service is very good and efficient. The serving staff are friendly and attentive. Regarding the reservation process, I made a reservation for 10 people a week in advance and the pub even called me to let me know that the reservation was confirmed. However, when we arrived, we were seated at a table for 8 and had to make space for the extra places. It would have been helpful if we were seated at a bigger table.

I had the best birthday ever at the Duke of Cornwall! I really want to thank the general manager Leticia for setting the place so nicely, the kitchen for cooking such amazing food for our group, and the servers Shawn and Kevin for taking care of us so well! I truly recommend this place, and I will definitely come back!

Great place to dine, and servers are very friendly! My partner and I had a fish and chips and their chicken pot pie, came out fresh, hot and very quickly. Delicious!! Would strongly suggest this establishment, will definitely go back!

My friend and I both had the fish and chips. The fish portion was a good size, but its flavour was disappointing; it tasted re-fried and stale. The sweet potato fries were outstanding, and the dessert (cheesecake) was delicious. Service was excellent; the atmosphere was just ordinary.

I’ve walked past this place so many times and decided to finally try it out. It’s much bigger inside than I thought. Cute place with a nice vibe. We sat at the bar. We had great service. The food was good. I only took off points for all the fruit flies around us as we’re eating.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Duke of Cornwall on University Avenue in Toronto for a Queens University alumni event, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the pub's charming and cozy interior. The ambiance was perfect for a laid-back gathering with fellow alumni. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. One highlight of the Duke of Cornwall was the delightful outdoor patio. It provided a lovely setting to enjoy a few drinks with my friends while soaking in the bustling atmosphere of University Avenue. The selection of drinks and food was top-notch, catering to various tastes and preferences. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was delicious and satisfying. Overall, my visit to the Duke of Cornwall was truly enjoyable, and I can confidently say that I'll be looking forward to returning in the future. Whether it's for a casual hangout or another alumni event, this pub has definitely earned its place on my list of favorite spots in Toronto.

Came in for a hardy snack after a day of traveling. Got 3 appetizers; the wings, fried pickles, and the onion rings to share with my husband. All were delicious. Set in the bar area and the bartender , Alex was also our waiter and was attentive, friendly and efficient!

I had been here back in March. Decided to go back for the fish and chips. The food was a.good portion for the regular size. Can't imagine the bigger size. Food was hot when it arrived. Food tasted great. Just like being in London. The service was excellent. I needed to be out of the restaurant in 45 mins and the attendant knew and made sure I met my goal. I would definitely go back when I return. Only bad part...the price increased from my previous time. But Food was still WOW!
