Draco Markham

I visited this restaurant for a belated celebratory dinner with my friend. It was my first time dining there. Parking was somewhat challenging due to the limited availability of parking spaces. The food was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the mushroom risotto and pork belly taco wrap. The ambiance was pleasant, as it is a hotel, so the noise level was appropriately controlled. However, I would rate the service as 4 out of 5 because it was difficult to get the serving staff's attention, and we had to request water multiple times. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has not yet had the pleasure of dining there.

Good ambience, good food, good service. This restaurant is inside the Marriott hotel but anyone can go there. It's not limited to only hotel guests.

The staff is incredible! Yes the food, the service and the atmosphere were amazing, but I really want to give a big shout out to the manager on duty, Herald and our server Kristle! They were super nice/friendly. They made our dinner so special. We celebrated my parents anniversary and with kids involved they made sure the kids got served first, made sure we were okay, made us feel comfortable. Shout out to you two ! We definitely will come back with awesome service you gave. Much appreciated!🍾🎉

The food seemed to be prepackaged ding ding fare, but at an upper mid price. Kids $7 mac and cheese seemed like a decent deal, but was actually just a half serving of lumpy KD. Salmon tartar was ok, and the brisket poutine tasted like packaged gravy and stewing beef cubes over frozen bag fries. Everything was really salty, but kind of tasteless. Service was decent and the ambiance is nice for a lobby.

My wife and I celebrated our one-year anniversary at Draco Markham, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening, with elegant décor and a cozy atmosphere. Krystal, our waitress, truly made our night special. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a genuine warmth that made us feel right at home. It also helps that she has a great sense of humour! Her recommendation of their signature smoky old fashioned was spot on—it was the best I’ve ever had. The dinner menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and every item we tried was exquisite. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. We particularly loved the Draco Green Salad, Pan-Seared black cod, Steak and Frites….and the chocolate lava cake – you just can’t have enough of it! Throughout the evening, Krystal provided 5-star service without being intrusive. A special mention goes to Harold, the Manager, who took care of my flower delivery and reserved the best table for us. Over the course of two days, I was able to communicate with him to get the details right. His attentiveness to detail and dedication went above and beyond, making this the most memorable dinner we’ve had to date. We were both so impressed with the level of service (from the wait staff to the bartender) and the quality of food that we will DEFINITELY be returning. Thank you, Krystal and Harold, for making our anniversary so special. We highly recommend this gem to everyone who’s looking for an intimate place to wow your significant other. You won’t regret it!

Everything to love about Draco. Wide open space to relax with friends and great food and drinks. We ordered: Pork belly tacos that were very tasy and juicy. Pei mussels in coconut thai curry. The sauce was out of this world home run winner. Lamb Chops that were pure heaven and succulent. Long Island iced tea with a decent mix of alcohol. The server was great and attentive. Even after the kitchen closed up, she was able to help us get some extra bread to soak up those sauces. I like how we were allowed to chill there for however long after the kitchen closed. A definitely recommend.

Went to Draco years ago for brunch before, the atmosphere was good but food was average. A few years later, food quality about the same as before. Similar food as Egg Mart, Cora, Markham station... price wise very reasonable as Draco is located inside Marriott. Picture is better than a thousand words... you can see it yourself.

The customer service at the Draco is remarkable especially the gentleman who served us this evening for our sister’s birthday celebration. The hotel's personnel at front desk are charming and very welcoming. The premises are immaculate clean and organized. The presentation and temperature of the meals are excellent and is reasonable considering high quality. Each dish looks stunning. The cuisine's value for the money and unbeatable. 「 GRILLED CAB 40oz TOMAHAWK STEAK 」is simply sublime. The tender, juicy meat is grilled to perfection with a lightly charred exterior that complements the rich, savory flavor of the steak. The size of the steak alone is impressive, making it a perfect dish to share with friends or family. A must-try for any meat lover. (It’s took an hour for this dish, make sure to order some appetizers if you’re hungry while waiting, worth wait! ) 「LOBSTER RAVIOLI served with grilled corn」A rich and savory buttery sauce is drizzled over lobster tail. This dish is a luxurious combination of tender lobster tail, creamy ricotta filling, and the sweetness of the grilled corn complements the seafood and pasta, adding an earthy, summery flavor to the dish. A succulent lobster tail that has been perfectly grilled. An elegant and indulgent dishes. We had a great night and highly recommend Marriott Markham and we will be back !
