Dr. Laffa

Very disappointed with our most recent visits. Experienced very poor customer service, bad attitude, almost a lack of desire to serve, where employees almost don’t want you there to begin with. Not only to myself and my wife, but also to other customers that have come in. There’s no need to go into detail, but I would not recommend this place. Don’t waste your time.

Over priced under delivered they capitalize off the kosher market and are very cheap on meat in the shawarma this has happened more then once salads are fresh but average at best as a middle eastern establishment I've had higher expectations its very unfortunate that they even have a license to practice binis in t-DOT!

The whole experience was terrible. The tables were dirty, the food was not fresh and the bread was mediocre. The falafel was so badly burned like it walked through hell and back again. The shawarma was not the best, it had a weird taste. There was a fly buzzing around their baked pastries which was left out in the open. Our whole meal was $45 for terrible food. It was not even a good place for sitting.

Update: they were closed at 5:20pm on a Wednesday. The hours on their door are incorrect The lack of AC during a heat wave is extremely dangerous for the workers in there. It must have been something like 43+ Celsius inside the store and even hotter near the oven. The worker was sweating so much and reeked of body odour. It was unpalatable to get any food there. Extremely dangerous as he can pass out from heat exhaustion. As a customer, obviously I can't eat inside because it's like a sauna, but you can't eat outside either because there is no shade by the picnic tables and it's so windy all your plates will get blown away. Went several times and the AC was broken. How long does it take to fix this? It's a OSHA violation. Their other location is just as bad and they have a smoke issue, all the workers are inhaling smoke all day.

Sabich on Laffa!!! OMG so delicious. Birthday lunch for me. Fantastic kosher lunch spot in northern Toronto. Not many places to get a freshly prepared Laffa in Canada. And when you order the Sabich on Laffa, you get enough food for two people.

The laffa was soo good. Big, filling, and delicious. 😋 It be nice if adding french fries was an option. I also took an apple strudel home. It was fresh and tasty. The place has some some indoor seating and also separates the dairy side from the meat side. Which might be an issue if you wish to dine in and order from both menus.

OMG This place is a gem!!! Their bread baked in house (Laffa) with sesame seeds, their shawarma (all the types!!), their appetizers ouffffff simply incredible! Their Falafel worth a separate page to be described, it’s soooo good 👍🏻 Absolutely loved the experience and can’t wait to be back to enjoy their fantastic food and company again! Kudos to the owners! You cannot go wrong with Dr. Laffa. The value that you get here is amazing. I recommend getting the "Laffa" options for shawarma or fresh made falafel. There is a great variety of topics to choose from seen here is a chicken shawarma with coleslaw, pickles, fries, Israeli salad. One "sandwich" can be enough for 2 meals and is a great snack the next day. This location is nice and much larger than the Wilson area location.
