We dropped by for lunch and ordered Karak Tea, Zaatar, Sujuk with Cheese and Muhammara. They are simply delicious. The people are warm and prices reasonable. Enjoyed ourself so much we grabbed some bread to take home. We will be back.

I came here to try the manakeesh with cheese. It's a childhood favourite of mine and I was so glad to find a local spot that makes this classic middle Eastern dish fresh! The staff here are amazing. So friendly, caring and welcoming. It reminds me of my childhood neighborhood bakery that knows you. We had a simple large cheese manakeesh which was deliciously fluffy with a little crispiness at the bottom. The dough itself is a little sweet which goes well with the salty, melty cheese on top. We had the large size and while we weren't too hungry, this hit the spot for the craving we had. However I do not think the large size would be enough for a full meal. It's more of a snack. The space itself is quite small and they only have a few tables so take out might be the only option. However take away would be well worth it too. Can't wait to come back.snd try some of their other offerings. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE 8 HOUR DRIVE. The owner of this place has truly earned the title DOUGH MASTER. Every bite of the fatayer, kaak, and Iraqi samoon feels like biting into a cloud, soft, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. The owner is incredibly attentive, personally ensuring that every customer is satisfied. The falafel sandwich was a perfect 10/10. The kashkaval and akkawi cheese kaak كعك were phenomenal, and every single fatayer option I tried was flawless. Before leaving, I couldn’t resist taking some samoon and kaak home with me, they’re just that good. THIS PLACE IS A MUST-VISIT. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!

The 5 star reviews appear to be paid or outdated. The food quality is bad. Chicken had a strong fish like smell. Also their fries: seemed like the frying oil was reused hundred times.

I visited Dough Master today for lunch with my mother. The chicken shawarma platter was excellent, and the customer service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and flavors. I must also mention that the prices are very reasonable which is rare to see these days. I highly recommend Dough Master!

Went to this and had the cheese, Spinach, beef and Sujuk Manooshas. This is probably the closest to our back home in flavour. The owner was very friendly and customer service was top notch. I want to thank the owner and the staff for being delivering a great food and an amazing service.

Ordered spicy chicken and cheese manakeesh, beef shawarma and chicken shawarma. The manakeesh was excellent but the chicken shawarma was inedible, it had a very distinct fishy smell in it and I don't know why. The beef shawarma was marginally better but I've had far better ones from Yaseen and Shawarma Anas. I had high hopes from this place but it disappointed.

Amazing place, great service, wonderful food! TLDR: My family and I finally had the opportunity to try Dough Master last week. It is a small gem in Streetsville that specializes in Iraqi bread and foods. We’re always on the hunt for good shawarma and Middle Eastern foods because, while there are plenty of Middle Eastern restaurants in the GTA, good food that tastes like back home is hard to find. Here is our experience at Dough Master: Ambiance: The place is small; you can tell it is mostly designed for takeout but there are a couple of tables if you want to dine in. The decor is lovely and simple. The owner displays the Iraqi bread he makes in house, fresh daily, and the bread aroma really sets the tone that you’re about to eat something freshly made. Service: Arab hospitality is definitely a thing, and we were not disappointed! The owner greeted us and described to us some of the breads and meals they offer that are unique to Iraq. They do have subtle differences from the other Middle East countries in how they spice their meets and mold their dough. The servers were equally friendly and kind! Food: Now for the bread and butter of this review (pun intended)! In North America, it is very hard to find a good shawarma; from Toronto to Austin, Vegas to Vancouver and to Montreal, I can say I’ve probably had two or three good shawarma’s in this continent. Dough Master really nailed it with both the chicken and beef shawarma! We obviously had to try both. I recommend requesting a bit more sauce for the beef shawarma because they serve it in Sammoun bread (Iraqi), and so they add the sauce at the top. One thing that stood out for me on the chicken shawarma was the thinly sliced chicken, and the moisture. The way they slice the chicken makes sure it’s not dry or chewy. Some establishments slice thick slices and don’t have enough grease to moisten the chicken. I ordered chicken on Saj, and it was so tender so delicious. I asked for the original shawarma but added pickled turnips because I love turnips. Honestly reminded me of the shawarma I used to get from a restaurant in Sharjah. It was very well done. I haven’t had a good shawarma like that in a long time. And the saj bread was so good. Not dry at all. Of course, we had to give their baked goods a try. So we bought their Arouq bread (parsley bread) and their Kahi bread which resembles a lot the Algerian “msammen.” And we obviously couldn’t leave without fresh Sammoun bread. I gave all of them a try and I think Dough Master deserves a five star for its food. You can tell there’s a lot of passion put into this business. I really enjoyed the Kahi, heated up and with honey. Accessibility: the restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. There are no steps so it is accessible, but doors are not automatic fyi. All in all this is a great place and I can’t wait to come back and try their meet and cheese pies next!
