Dorchin restaurant

I bought two skewers of koobideh kebab, thinking that positive reviews meant good quality. Since yesterday, I’ve been vomiting nonstop. I didn’t want to leave a negative review because I didn’t want to harm the business, but if I don’t speak up, the quality won’t improve, and if someone else gets food poisoning, I’ll feel responsible.

We had such a wonderful experience at this cozy restaurant! The owner was so nice and welcoming, the service was fast, the food was fresh and so delicious, portions were huge, prices are so good! We truly enjoyed our time! For sure we will come back again and will recommend this place to our friends and family!

The best Soltani kabob we have had in a long time!! Fresh, high quality and tender meat. The kabobs literally melted in the mouth. The owner was very warm, nice and respectful. He was making sure everything was great which absolutely was. The restaurant was clean with a cozy atmosphere. I am very happy we tried it in our Toronto visit and thank other reviewers.

Dorchin, a recently opened restaurant in the neighborhood, offers a great variety of dishes. They come from Mashhad, Iran, which is famous for its shishlik, and they make the best shishlik kebob in the GTA. We tried many dishes, but these were my favorite ones in order: 1. Shishlik. The best ever in GTA. Shishlik is a type of kebob made from marinated lamb, typically cut into large chunks as you see in the images. 2. Dandeh Kabob - This dish consists of ribs and is a bit oily, but if you love meat on the bone, it’s a great option. Be sure to ask them not to add hot sauce! I prefer my kabob pure, without any unusual sauces. 3. Mahicheh - A lamb shank dish, served only on weekends. 4. Koobideh Kabob - It was delicious. 5. Chenjeh Kabob. It was good but not the best. 6. Tahdig and Fesenjoon - I didn’t like their fesenjoon as it was too sweet. It should be balanced in flavor (sweet and sour). Their prices are very competitive, and the owner is eager on conversing with customers to improve their business. They also have delicious traditional Persian ice cream - try their saffron ice cream. They offer free soup as an appetizer and free tea when you’re done with your meal! Much better than their overpriced alternatives in the same region.

We visited the restaurant at 10 PM and found it to be exceptionally clean. The food was prepared quickly, and the owner personally welcomed and served us with complimentary soup, traditional ice cream, and tea with baklava. His friendliness and the reasonable prices added to the positive experience. The kebab was incredibly flavorful, perhaps the best I've had in a long time, and paired perfectly with the tea. I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent service, delicious food, and fair pricing. If you want to enjoy quality food at a reasonable price, this is the place to go.

I had an amazing experience at Dorchin Restaurant! The Middle Eastern-style kabab was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The staff were incredibly hospitable and kind, making me feel very welcome. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service.

Amazing authentic Iranian food. Prices on the menu seemed a bit high, but given that they started you off with a complimentary soup and also finished with a small complimentary dessert and tea, really made the whole experience all worth it. You can easily feed 2 people with 1 combo and an extra skewer. All around amazing experience and great service!
