The restaurant place is tiny but the food was very delicious. Great tasting pork bone soup, japchae rice tasted so good. They serve a lot of side dishes too. Server was very helpful. Great service and great food. Go inside and try the food. It's worth it.

Best Korean restaurant I’ve been to in Toronto! Every dish is soooooo delicious and authentic. I especially recommend the cold noodles, it’s soooo good, you can tell the recipe for noodle soup must have stood the test perhaps for generations because it’s so flavorful with many many layers and nuances. I couldn’t help but drank the soup despite the cold weather. Price is really fair and service is also very good. Would definitely come back for more!

The food is so good! This became one of my favourite korean restaurants! :D My mom and I ordered the Bibimbap and Soon Tofu Soup. Both of them were so delicious! Even the side dishes were very good. There was a good balance of all the ingredients and we were both super satisfied. The service is also amazing, very nice people and the restaurant is pretty small so it’s quite cozy. It’s giving comfort food, comfort restaurant, authentic cozy korean restaurant. :))

You know it's an authentic Korean restaurant when most customers are Koreans. It's a very cozy place in an industrial area with max capacity of 20 people. We ordered Beef Yaki U-don ($12.95), Bibimbap ($12.95) and Pork Cutlet ($16.95). All dishes were made to order and piping hot. There were more meat and vegetables than U-don and rice! I love the sweet teriyaki sauce used in the yaki u-don and the u-don had great al-dente texture. The hot stone bowl for the bibimbap was well heated and provided crispy rice crust on the bottom. Pork cutlet were crispy and tender. The side salad was refreshing. The 5 generous portions banchans were fresh and well seasoned. I especially loved the kimchi which was crunchy, well marinated and not overly salty. Even it was a busy lunch period, the server was friendly and attentive. Definitely a hidden gem one should pay a visit!

Best: pre-pandemic prices! Delicious food in general. Feels really authentic. Generous portions except for japchae. Love the condiments! Very nice owner/cook/server! Feels transported to Korea in there! Most clients look Korean! Negative: very small space—only five tables! But if patient, you will get a table! The seafood spicy tofu soup could get a bit more flavour! Will come back but not at peak hours!

Hidden Gem 💎 Is the best way to describe Dolsoe. It is the absolute best when it comes to food, service, and price. Atmosphere would score lower on my list but the other aspects make up for it. Food: 9/10 All of the dishes ordered were cooked immaculately, the portions were good, and it was seasoned perfectly - many times, I find korean restaurants are over seasoned and could get a little salty but here is commendable!! Not to mention that you could almost order anything on the menu for under $13 We ordered: #3 Pork Cutlet 8.5/10 Crispy Pork Cutlet topped off with their tangy and sweet special sauce. It comes with rice, salad, and a miso soup. This dish costed the most compared to our other orders but it was worth the price. The batter was crispy, the pork was still steaming, and the sauce gifted different sensations of taste. #8 Gamjatang 8.5/10 Korean Pork bone soup - the meat literally melted off the bone. Smelt this upon walking in and knew I had to get it!Comes with a small bowl of rice on the side. Probably the most seasoned dish out of the rest of our orders; with it leaning slightly on the salty side, but that makes it nice to eat with the rice. #11. Bibimbap 8/10 The classic Korean mixed rice dish with meat, assorted vegetables and topped off with a crispy sunny side egg. It comes with a sauce on the side that you must add when mixing everything together. I would recommend this to anyone unsure of what to order but wants a solid tasting dish. #15. Cold Noodles 8.5/10 Chewy thin noodles cooked perfectly in a light slushee broth and topped off with cucumbers, white radish pickles, Asian pear, half boiled egg, and sesame seeds. Well seasoned - comes with the usual vinegar and mustard condiments if you want a little more kick. This dish is great for the hot weather. Note: Side dishes come free and the amount and type you get seems to vary on how many people you were seated with. We went with 4 so we had 6 kinds, but the dishes were larger than if you were with just 2. Service - 9/10 Our server was great. Super kind, attentive, and talented. Since the place is rather small, she is doing everything but cooking by herself so do be patient - she will not forget you and will come to check-in ! They serve both tea and water, the food came out quick. Atmosphere - 6.5/10 I am unsure of how to accurately rate this but I would say it depends on your personal preference and what you were expecting to see. To be completely honest, we almost didn't eat here because of how it looked but goes to show we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The restaurant is located in the plaza surrounded by an industrial area. At the entrance of the door you could see it was a fairly small restaurant with outdated decor, and limited seats. Clearly not a fancy place to take anyone on a date to. However, it somehow felt super humble and homey. It felt familiar in a way, as though I was visiting my grandparents house for some good lunch/dinner. Sometimes people eat there alone and I could see why. I would say it is a part of the experience! Free parking Lot!

If you want affordable delicious meal, this is it! For less than $15, you could grab most of the items here. We tried salmon teriyaki and bibimbap. Both plenty of portion and delicious! This place is tiny, and maybe has 5 tables or so that are stuck to each other tightly. So keep that in mind before visiting!

I highly recommend this restaurant; it offers an exceptional dining experience. During my first visit for lunch, I tried a Korean dish for the first time, and the Aunt who served me, who was very kind and had a delightful smile and lovely, patiently taught me how to enjoy it properly, even helping me mix the food. The restaurant's ambiance is also quite pleasant. You can see in the photos how much I enjoyed the meal. I will definitely be returning.
