Dohboy's Diner

Pretty decent place. Food tasted good except the toast. It was so dry and bland, and very thick. Couldn't eat it. Might have been stale. If we go again I'd probably swap out for a pancake or something. Otherwise, pretty standard breakfast!

cute diner! friendly atmosphere and nice wait staff the burger was juicy and awesome, the vegetables were washed but not dried so my bun was super soggy and water was dripping from my burger. other than that the taste was awesome. side poutine was huge but served fresh and the gravy was delish the pulled pork special had a strong bbq sauce and was nice and saucy. the bun was soft as well. great special if they have it then i would recommend it!

Went through the drive thru on a weekend for some quick Sammie's and diner coffee. Fantastic service, very friendly and the sandwiches and coffee was amazing!! We also got some donuts and holy MOLY. 10/10 (ketchup packet is for scale)

Just enjoyed a delicious breakfast at dohboy’s diner. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, from the counter staff, the host and the waitress. Our wait staff even made sure that we were comfortable in the booth by asking the diners in the both behind us to pull down the sun shade to prevent the sun from shining in my husband’s eyes. We felt looked after. The atmosphere is clean, tidy and welcoming. There is lots to look at around the restaurant and doesn’t feel cluttered. Service is prompt and the food arrived hot from the kitchen. The portion sizes are more than sufficient because we ended up taking what we didn’t eat home with us.

Service is a little slow but food is good especially the big pancakes. Coffee comes in a paper cup, I think there are no refills.

My partner and I had the pleasure of visiting this very cool and retro inspired diner for the first time after hearing great things about it. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing! The best bakery style rye bread I've ever had! Our server Krissy was so friendly, and efficient as well. Chris, one of the cooks even brought out our food himself, chatted with us, and was really informative and knowledgeable when we were speaking with him... such a nice guy. We will definitely be returning. It will be a regular breakfast/lunch stop for us whenever we're in St Catharines. Edit: as much as our first experience was top notch, we were very disappointed on our second visit. We got a table and sat down. While waiting for service and menus, 2 other patrons came in and sat down. Not only were they approached first, they were also given menus before we were served. The fact that the servers were serving everyone equally and had no set tables or sections, there"s no reasoning for this kind of service. My partner was very irritated by that and yes, gave the server attitude because of what she did. She then proceeded to go over to the other girls at the counter and talk about her, making it quite obvious as they all turned their heads to look at her simultaneously... How professional. This will be our last time at this establishment. Still want to add that Chris and Krissy were awesome on our first visit!

Nice spot for a quick breakfast stop. Food was good and reasonably priced. Got a tasty walnut crunch donut on the way out. We will have to come back to try more menu items in the future!

Amazing first time experience. Looking for a quick bite, came to the right spot. Staff super friendly and helpful, place was clean, owners take care of there business, food was fast and delicious. Went in for the early bird special and ended up with a box of donuts on the way out. They looked and taste amazing. I recommend trying this spot out.
