I got the marinated chicken breast plate with coleslaw and hand-cut fries . Chicken was so soft and yummy. The coleslaw and fries were great as well. It came along with a bun which was super soft too.. definitely coming back !!!

We ordered the family combo for 4 ppl at $120. The brisket is dry and not tender at all and sausage tastes like mystery meat. Dine in space is small with 2 tables for 4 only. Ketchup is not available here. Not worth the money and would not come back again.

In the plaza near woodbine, there were sooo many places to choose from.. we felt like having some beef. Texas BBQ smell greeted us the moment we walked through the door. Wide range of options to select from and price is decent. We tried the 1 meat plates with 2 sides and a dinner roll. The fries were delicious and crispy. Have a bit of the nostalgic fries truck flavour!! Brisket plate was a good size for 1 person. Got the right amount of grease to make the brisket tender and juicy!! Your choice of sauce you like on it and they were generous with it. Loved the idea that Gravy was no extra charge for your mash potato and it went down real well!! Everything was satisfying !!

I came here for the first time today. I had the marinated chicken breast plate with fries and mac and cheese. Chicken - chicken was flavourful but honestly it was cold. The bbq sauce on it is great. Sweet and tangy with a hint of Smokeyness to it. Mac and cheese- it wasn’t great. Think of Popeyes Mac and cheese. Make the sauce marginally thicker and that is dickeys Mac and cheese. Fries- the real show stopper here. These were cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. I asked for a little thing of bbq on the side for dipping and it was perfect. Bun- it’s just okay. Could be toasted and make it better. For real Texas flavour a slice of Texas toast with some garlic butter would be outstanding. Extra points for biodegradable plastic straws. So glad it wasn’t paper. I also love the reusable cups they offer. I dined in and the staff was friendly and polite. The owner made sure to ask if I was enjoying my chicken. My meal with my drink came to $22. Not bad if you’re craving barbecue.

Turkey Sandwich was flavourful and delicious. Got mine topped with the spicy bbq which I highly recommend. The owner was also super nice and quick with my order - was in and out in 2 minutes tops. The side of Mac and cheese was also delicious. Amazing to have such good BBQ in Markham

If you like Texas BBQ then you'll love this place! Brisket, chicken, turkey, sausages - all smothered in delicious BBQ sauce. Side dishes to die for like mac 'n cheese, baked beans, coleslaw and others. The service is super fast and the food is amazing! We will definitely be back!

A True Taste of Texas As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the delicious smell of real Texas barbecue. The beef brisket was amazing - so juicy and tender with a perfect smoky flavor. The ribs were just as impressive, cooked by someone who really knows their stuff. The brisket sandwich was full of flavor, and the wings were perfectly crispy. The hand-cut fries were the perfect side dish, crunchy and delicious. The friendly staff made the meal even better. They were really welcoming and took great care of me. If you love good quality, hand slaughtered halal meat, you've got to check this place out. Every single dish showed how much effort they put into making authentic Texas barbecue. Dickey's Barbecue Pit is more than just a restaurant - it's a must-go place for anyone who loves great food and a memorable time.
