I ordered kitfo and tibis and it was not tasty at all. They did not use a butter at all. The kitfo tastes like beribere (paprika) be zeit (oil) with minced meat. The tibis can not be chewed at all . I don't recommend anyone to order those two foods.

Top tier service from the very friendly staff. Felt that I was treated like family from the moment I walked in. Excellent food as well, cooked fresh in front of us. Will be back!!

They sold me meat that wasn't fresh. I got home and saw that the meat had a bad smell to it and I had to throw it out. This is a greedy move and doesnt put the customers health into account.

I would suggest labeling the spices for people wanting to branch out into Ethiopian cooking. They were to busy to approach for assistance.

Family-run, authentic Ethiopian food. Can get spicy meat dishes with big spongy flat bread. Lady who works there is super sweet. Very bare bones on the inside, a bit of a hole-the-wall, but it adds to the charm. Food is a bit heavy and will set you back no more than 10$ but you'll be full all day.
