As far as I’m concerned, there are few and far between places like this these days. It really felt like a family ran operation. The food was outstanding, the drinks were poured honestly, the portions were massive, the service was excellent. If you’re looking for some sort of an upscale, yuppie, Toronto dining establishment, this is probably not your bag. But if you’re looking for great food at a great price with great atmosphere, this is an absolute gem. I recommend this place wholeheartedly and will definitely return. My Nonna died 30 years ago and this is about as close to the food she cooked for me as I can find.

Two of us went there on a week night and it was really busy. Luckily, we had a reservation, although it still took a while before a server greeted us and seated us. The service was efficient and friendly once seated. Food was very good and portions are generous. The sea food pasta stands out with lots of fresh and delicious seafood with the pasta. We got some desserts as take-out (as we were too full to enjoy them at the restaurant) and found them to be a bit too sweet for our tastes.

Very Italian restaurant, usual food options and it was nice, though the aglio olio mushroom was not the best. Very homecooked.. Good vegetarian options too. I marked low on service as they pressured us into getting sparkling and still water, took a long time providing a box to take away left over, and their card machine options were minimally 18% tip on the taxed value. Daylight robbery.

Went to celebrate my birthday with my sister cousin and 2 beautiful nieces. We were so fortunate to get the best service ever. Hats off to Nino who went above and beyond. He catered to our every need and was so gracious. And thanks to Ina as well. As always the food was spectacular and so appreciate the wonderful portions.
