Taste is better compared to the quantity served. We tried Chicken biriyani from Masal Mexx and chilli Chicken biriyani from Deshi Hakka. Loved the taste but not the quantity served. They have a common seating arrangement of 20 people around.

If you're a fan of Desi Chinese, Desi Chines is a must-visit! I tried their food for the second time, and it was just as amazing as the first. Their Paneer Chili, Schezwan and Chilli Garlic Noodles, and Manchow Soup were all perfectly cooked, exactly to my taste. They followed my instructions, adding extra garlic and kicking up the spice level just right! The flavors are incredible and authentic, making it a top choice for anyone craving a delicious Desi Chinese meal. I highly recommend this place for all Desi Chinese lovers – you won't be disappointed!

We went in for lunch, and were really impressed by the customer service and fresh food. We ordered chilli fish and chilli chicken with fried rice. Everything was delicious and fresh. Although they need to improve their hot and sour chicken soup, it was undercooked. But overall we are happy with our experience here and will go back in future.

We ordered chili fish and fried chicken momos, and though the preparation took a while, every second was worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious, and the place was tidy 🥰. I will definitely be coming back again!

We ordered chilli garlic noodles, chilli chicken gravy from Desi Hakka and then ordered loaded fries with beef, Bombay grill sandwich and mango milkshake from masala Mexx. I am assuming it's the same owner as both restaurants share the same location but different cashiers. Everything we ordered tasted great but the noodles and chilli chicken were amazing! Portion size was slightly smaller than a typical Hakka place but the flavors were diff and unique. I believe the chefs are from Nepal offering an authentic experience. We can't wait to try other items like Mommos and rice. Everything we ordered totalled less than $50. Staff was courteous and welcoming. 5 stars to this new halal joint in North Oshawa!

Tried their chicken chili momos, chili garlic shrimps, fried rice, hakka noodles, and schezwan chicken. Everything was delicious, especially loved the shrimps and momos. It's 2 outlets under one roof, the other one's Masala Mexx. Enough space if you want to dine-in. Service was quick. Overall, it was a very good experience. Highly recommended!!

It's always fun to get together with foodie friends over some good food. This time it was a new restaurant in Oshawa. Ummm, it's actually two restaurants - Desi Hakka and Masala Mexx - with both offering Indian twists to popular items. Desi Hakka, as the name suggests, offers Indian Style Hakka Chinese fare. Popular dishes include Chilli Chicken, Manchurian Fish, Hakka Noodles, MoMos, Fried Rice, and more! We tried several dishes and they were all delicious! Masala Mexx featured a more unique fusion of Indian and Mexican flavours, with Tandoori Burritos, Quesadillas, Tacos, Wings, and much more. Most dishes include a choice of Chicken, Beef, Fish, Shrimps, or Vegetarian. It's impossible to make a wrong choice! We all enjoyed the food, all of it, regardless of which kitchen prepared it. The flavours were outstanding!

Decided to try this newly opened Indian Desi Hakka restaurant , It was amazing. If anyone is craving authentic Desi Hakka chinese food this is your place to go in Oshawa. Highly recommended. We ordered the Paneer Garlic Burnt Noodles and Paneer Manchurian Gravy , Both were very tasty. Pricing is very reasonable and quantity is good too. Finally Oshawa has an Authentic Desi Hakka restaurant.
