I recently visited Desi Bar &Grill in Markham with a friend, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish surpassing our expectations. The ambiance was lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a fun night out or lunch. Our server-Shruti was exceptional—quick, attentive, and incredibly friendly. Great atmosphere. The garlic Naan was one of the best I've ever had in the GTA. The Lahori fish was delicious and so was the rara chicken. The curries were very saucy and perfect with the Naan. The mango juice tasted fresh.

Atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice and modern - great for parties or gatherings. Portion size for the food was worth the price point and we had a lot to take home as leftovers. Cocktails are pricey but beers were reasonably priced. Our server was Avineet and was really helpful with the menu. We found that servers could have been more attentive - things like water and napkins took some reminding to get. But there was a large party being hosted so we assumed that attention was diverted there. The owner was very warm and checked in on tables.

Elegant and Niche Indian food joint. Its well maintained, clean and got lot of seating available. Super professional and quick service from the staff. The food and drink were tasteful with impressive quantity. I think this one of the most Indian Cuisine we’ve had. Special thanks to Sruthi and Avi who were helping us withe orders and servings. They were friendly, understanding and professional.

The food was exceptional! So happy to have a place like this in Markham. Manya was our waitress and she was extremely attentive to our needs, especially my gluten allergy. For my GF people, there are multiple options here for you! Can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing dinner and congratulatory celebration at Desi Bar and Grill. Pranshu, our server was amazing and very polite. He suggested good vegetarian dishes for us and also brought us a complimentary congratulatory cake. The portion was great for the price we paid. If you are in Markham, I 100% recommend having your dinner here. Thank to the restaurant staff and also to Pranshu for making our celebration so special.
