Among the best chicken dishes we’ve had even compared to ones in Guangzhou, China. Warm and pleasant service with a comforting atmosphere. Complementary dessert was also delicious. Highly recommended!

Authentic roasted squab, super delicious! I was so happy because usually have to reserve but thankfully they had it available when I went at night. Also ice cream is different sooo good! Server said it was from a japanese supplier. I couldn’t help myself and had thirds and fourths!! Must try this hidden gem if near Yorkdale I will definitely be back for the chicken

Amazing service and food! The staff were so kind & frequently came to refill our water. The food portions were very big and a good price! We will 100% come back here and recommend others to come as well. The photos are of the sweet & sour chicken, beef pad Thai, chicken soup dumplings, mango salad, miso soup, and hot & sour soup.

The dining experience at Delicacy Kitchen exceeded my expectations! We came in late so there weren’t a lot of customers. The atmosphere was quiet and service was warm and inviting. We ordered plenty of food. The QingXin chicken was cooked perfectly. We also had the hot&sour soup, the Peking Duck etc. all dishes were delicious and authentic, and were plated nicely. Will come again for sure to try their home made Dim Sum. Recommended for everyone who craves for Cantonese Cuisine:)

Amazing authentic Cantonese cuisine! We were on the fence about where to eat so late on a weekday, but we ended up visiting here for a late dinner after 9 pm and were warmly welcomed by the female owner. We had the 白切雞 (Poached Chicken) which is my favourite dish, fried rice (炒飯), and were delighted to find all-day dim sum (全天點心), even at night—which is rare in Toronto! The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly brought me back to South China. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Canton-style dishes!

Dropped in for a quick lunch. Was expecting some good food based on 4.6 google reviews. There were only 4 tables occupied and it seemed like there was only one older lady taking orders. She took forever to do anything, so I got the menu myself, wrote down the numbers on a paper and gave it to her. Food came out very slowly. Citrus fish fillets came out and immediately, it looked different from the pictures. The colourful green/yellow/red peppers were missing. And then I took a bite of the deep fried fillet in citrus sauce. Turns out there was barely any fish in it. About 15-20% of the fillets were fish and the rest was just batter. Huge disappointment. I also ordered the Muxu chicken. It took so long for them to prepare it I decided to pay and leave. I told the cashier that it was a huge disappointment and that I had high expectations from the google review. She apologised and didn’t charge me for the fish fillets which was nice. They finished preparing the Muxu chicken as I was leaving, and they put it in a take out box and I paid for it. When I got home to try the Muxu chicken it was actually pretty tasty. Seems like the restaurant lacks consistency item over item. Unfortunately for me, inconsistency, slow prep, bad service are my impressions and I hope that they can improve in the future. Best wishes.

Easy location to get to, right along Dufferin street, they also have parking behind the restaurant. I came for a big lunch with a friend and we tried lots of great dishes at Delicacy. The staff were friendly and the seating was ample with a comfortable vibe. Especially good were the dim sum (chicken soup and fried chicken dumplings), boiled Chinese broccoli, fired scallops, turnip cakes; the Peking duck combo (2 courses) was good but not as impressive as I hoped from reviews; lastly the veggie tempura was just ok. They also have cooling tea in stock which was fun to try! Overall the food was good and I would return again for more dim sum. Note: on weekdays you can save 10% off when you pay with cash.

Came in for dinner and the restaurant was surprisingly not busy. The environment was cute and pleasantly clean. My friend and I ordered combo 2 for 2 people along with dumplings and siu mai. Food was delicious and reasonable priced. Friendly staff and fast service. Also got free mango pudding. We’ll come back to try the Peking duck. Also recommend if you are within the area.
