Came here for a quick lunch, the oxtail dish was soo juicy and tender! Paired perfectly with a mango carrot smoothie and very friendly service from the store owner 😊

Twice now I have come here and the lady has not offered to give me a receipt. When I asked for a receipt, the lady would not print me a debit copy of the receipt. Instead she gave me one from the till which stated the total was 2.83, yet she charged me 2.85, which is the cash price, not the debit price. This is the second time this has happened which tells me she is aware of her actions. Sure, it's only a few cents, but those add up over time. Also, she punches through all the confirmation options on the debit machine, so you do not see the amount owed, you just see chequing or savings and askes for your pin. When I entered, I asked about daily specials and she got defensive about prices going up and things being too expensive. I should have taken that as a sign. The beef patty tasted like the frozen ones from the grocery store. Overall, not a good impression. This was me giving it a second chance and both times I had to ask for a receipt and both times she overcharged me. The first time, I got the oxtail and I found it to be mostly gravy on rice n peas. First time was approximately two years ago. I hope the two cents were worth losing a customer over. Sorry, four cents.

Decent portion for the price. I got the small jerk chicken & rice & peas. I'm not usually big on rice & peas but I really liked it here. It wasn't dry. The oxtail gravy on top was amazing. I'll definitely be back

Passed by this place after leaving from dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant and feeling unsatisfied so I got a large oxtail dinner. One bite and my world turned upside down in the best way. Tender, fall off the bone oxtail. Flavourful gravy. Perfect meat, gravy and rice proportion. Not to mention the food was packed with care by a friendly woman who made me smile. Can't wait to come back.

Truly amazing food!!! Tastes just like the West Indian food my aunties made growing up. The portions are large and jam packed with flavour. I love the tender curry goat and the juicy jerk chicken!!! Great prices!!! I haven’t seen prices this affordable for West Indian food in years!!! My new favourite spot for that home cooked craving.

Friendly service and great value: Even a small size will get an amazing amount of delicious comfort food. We also ordered a homemade Black Cake and my dad said it tasted just like the Christmas Pudding he had in England when he was a child. Now we just need to make a rum butter sauce for the leftovers!
