It was very disappointing. Stopped by for a quick lunch seeing the good reviews, we were the first ones in at 11am. The vermicelli was refrigerator cold, meat was warm. Lemongrass beef was sour and didn't make us feel well. One of the servers just stared at us when we asked for chili/spice on the side. ?? We basically packed to go and didn't want to stay. It wasn't all bad, one of the male servers was able to make us feel welcome and asked if we wanted the chef to refry the beef. There are many authentic Vietnamese places in Toronto and this is not it. Lost 36 dollars and went to another Vietnamese place afterwards. Needless to say I'm not coming back.

The food is good, we come with another couple and share different plates. The drinks were to sweet for my taste, but nice presentation. The food was solid, good flavors, nothing out of the world but good for the moment sharing time with friends. They have a good deal with the beers.

A great place for Vietnamese food. Food comes out quick and portion sizes are large. My favorite was the grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli plate. Meats were grilled perfectly and all ingredients on the plate was well presented. The pho was also very good. The broth was tasty and the beef had a nice tender chew. The drinks here are also tasty and pairs up with the food well.

It was alright! The chicken was nice and juicy but personally I don’t enjoy the super lemon grassy chicken. The marinade was not bad but it wasn’t something special and so as the pork. Cheaper than most modern Vietnamese places but not my go to place. Nice space and seatings though the floors are oddly greasy or slippery everywhere. I do really like the flavoured drinks and would go there for their drinks but not food. I love the pandan cloud!

Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! Makes me want to write a love letter to Saigon, pouring our all my feelings of endearment and how much I miss it. The familiar flavours I took for granted are more seldom seen here, but Dear Saigon gives me a little reminder of what it's like with their vermicelli bowls and beef noodles.

If you’re looking for an extraordinary culinary journey that brings the flavors and soul of Vietnam to your table, Dear Saigon is an absolute must-visit. Atmosphere was a cozy, vibrant space, this restaurant creates a warm ambiance with modern design, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable meal. I had a Betel Leaf Wrapped Ribeye Vermicelli, which is fantastic and really reminds me of the time I was in Vietnam because I'm a Vietnamese myself. Gonna support this place in a long time.

This was my first time trying soft shell crab and it was SO delicious. We loved everything we ordered that day and I'm still thinking about the refreshing pandan cloud drink. Can't wait to go back!!

Wish this location was as big as the other ones. A good change recently is that their menu is now harmonized with the other locations so that the more special items are also available here The Vietnamese egg coffee was very tasty
