Dave's Drupatis Roti & Doubles/ Busy Corner Restaurant &Lounge

Very flavourful food especially my favorite chilling chicken with gravy. Lunch specials are $10.99 and plate full of food with pop. This place is only a couple of blocks from my house, it's my new neighborhood favorite restaurant now.

I bought palari, paratha skin and sal fish, The sal fish was slightly burnt giving it a dry unpleasant taste but everything else was fine Customer service when I went was 5/5.

I’ve been supporting this restaurant for years! I ordered from uber and the order was just under $90. The uber menu does not have tamarind sauce. I called to let them know I would like some tamarind sauce with my order. We had to jump through hoops to get them to add some tamarind sauce. First I was told to wait a moment. Second I was put on hold (just for some tamarind sauce). Eventually when they came back from the hold they told me they could only add one and they would have to charge me. I asked if I could have two. They said only one. The tamarind that will be added to my uber bill is 4oz. I asked them if they could split the packaging of the tamarind because my order is large enough for 4 people. They said no. After the added charge of the tamarind my order is just under $100. This is unacceptable, and I think the standard for how customers are treated should be evaluated and fixed. I personally will not be eating or supporting this restaurant going forward. In the photo attached you will see the what I got for $100 and the tamarind sauce was only 2.35oz including the weight of the container.

Dave's Drupatis delivers everything that you expect when it comes to their delicious unique menu of foods. The customer service was great, and the food does not take a long time to be served if you decide to dine in. For years, I have been trying to find a restaurant that sells the best doubles, phulourie balls, and even bake and shark. I must say that I have finally found my spot! The phulourie balls 10/10 The doubles 10/10 The bake and shark 10/10 The shrimp roti 10/10 The way they make the phulourie balls has the right softness, and their sauce is made just right. I can promise you that you will not find a better spot that makes doubles the way Drupatis does, flavor galore in them doubles! Don't get me started with the bake and shark! That alone will fill you up! Great size portion tender fried shark bites, with pineapples. I decided to try the shrimp roti bussup shut, and it was definitely giving all the right tastes. The shrimp was not overcooked, the flavor was on point, and the roti was nice and soft. 10/10 restaurant hands down!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I waited 45 minutes for my food and had to check on the status of my order. I ordered jerk chicken and requested pepper on the side. However, the dish was so spicy that I couldn't eat it, despite my high tolerance for spice. The menu did not indicate that the jerk chicken would be extremely spicy, which was misleading. I informed the staff about my issue, especially since I'm pregnant and experiencing heartburn. They told me this is how the dish is prepared and did not offer any solution or replacement. Due to the lack of customer service and the inability to accommodate my dietary needs, I will not be returning and will share my experience with others.

Lovely inside the restaurant and very Friendly staff. Dinner was delicious. Chicken Roti was perfection A+++ sweet and sour chicken was also excellent. Highly recommend. We will be back, thank you!

The roti was not eatable, I ordered on Uber eats awhile ago and I had the same issue where the roti was not cooked properly. I picked up food today thinking maybe if I get it fresh it’ll be better but no. Either the dough sits there in the fridge and they cook it to order or someone don’t know how to cook. The person at the counter obviously never worked customer service in her life, no greeting or emotion. No I don’t care about the money spent it’s the disappointment of food quality and time wasted.

Really liked the doubles with the fresh sauce and cucumbers (slightly sweet) and the boneless goat roti. Hot sauce on the side was $0.25 which seemed odd to charge extra for to be honest. Saw a sign or Sunday buffet $17.99 per adult and crab and dumplings on the weekends only. Would definitely come back to try it out.
