Unassuming place but remarkable authentic korean food! Everything tasted fresh. Owners and chefs are super nice and welcoming. No dine in option.

This is a bit of a hidden gem. Incredibly authentic Korean food. There's not really any seating as they're primarily a caterer. Very flavourful dishes with that "grandma's touch" magic.

We moved to this neighborhood recently and this place saved my life! The food is so fresh and feels like home. The price is reasonable as well. The staff is super helpful and kind. We already visited twice and fell in love with it. I feel so grateful to have such a nice take-out place within walking distance.

Now they offer meal kits( mostly fully cooked) service or banquet catering service. For the meal kits, menu changes weekly and gets posted on Instagram( @dasoni.banchan). Ordered weekly meal kit a couple of weeks ago ($90.40 inc. tax) and were delivered on Saturday afternoon. You can either etransfer in advance or pay by cash on delivery. There was a bit of delay for delivery, but they communicated via text message to make sure I was home to receive delivery. Spicy monkfish was enough for 3-4 portions, radish kimchi was delicious, 5 portions of Korean hamburger steak ( dduck gal bi) was the only item that was raw but easy to fry up. There were two different side dishes. Beef knuckle soup was very tasty as well. I would definately use this service again.

Nice Korean restaurant on St Clair. It’s the only one within blocks from Yonge and St Clair so it is a relief there is one. Their pork bone soup is delicious and packs a decent quantity as well. I have yet to try other menus but will definitely come back for more. Keep at it! Edit: it seems to be closed down :(

This is a very small restaurant, almost like you grandparents kitchen and with amazing food! So if you're in the mood for some delicious, one-of-a-kind Korean cuisine, come down to Dasoni located on St. Clair Avenue West! Although the menu is limited, there are still many options for you to choose from! Limited choices compared to a typical Korean restaurant but every dish is prepared with love and care and you will enjoy it! You can get the amazing soup like Kimchi Stew, or the tasty or braised kimchi Ribs! Lots of flavours to choose from for your taste buds! Their bibimbap dishes are amazing. We enjoyed the appetizers, and the vegetarian Bibimbap. Unlike most Korean restaurants, they offer bento box dishes which is amazing! We loved the fact that they also offer frozen uncooked Korean food that you can take home and cook. A large number of their customers take home the frozen Korean food!

Went with a friend and had a great time there. Excellent food, good service. Portion sizes were good for the price. Tasted like authentic korean food. I would come back again to try their set course meals. Very convenient to get too since the streetcar stops right in front of it. The food came out relatively quick as well, very little wait time.

The food is amazing here. I like it. It’s a bit non popular area so I was worried but it was totally worth to go. Their course meal is amazing and totally worth it. ($30 per person and it’s a lot of food) You have to book in advance though (call them at least 3-4 hours before) I love to go there again and again.
