Lovely experience. Our waitress was superb. Food was fantastic. I had the chicken with salad and my partner had the veal. Thank you, we will definitely be back very very soon! 😍

The quality and taste of the food, the fast and friendly service, as well as the clientele speaking mostly Portuguese that evening made it feel like I was transported back to Portugal. This restaurant felt familiar even though it was my first time here. It's comforting and feels like home. This is going to be a regular place for me moving forward. I'm sad that I didn't walk in sooner despite passing it almost daily for the last 15 years.

I just buy the grilled Chicken today Oct. 10, 2024 and I tell the lady (maybe she is the owner old lady) that please give me a newly cook chicken and she said YES. But when I arrive home I eat the chicken but it's very dry and hard to eat even the chicken breast. So I call them right away and the lady said come back ill give you a new one. WHAT??? That's it??? I have no time to go back there. Please NEXT time don't do it again.

We love this place. We are a family of 4 with two young children. The servers are so kind, helpful and very friendly. It's very affordable and space is clean. We had roastbeef the last time, it was little tough but other than that, the chicken and soup were amazing.

I went with my family for dinner and it was great experience. Simple family style, portion of the meals were fantastic generous and good to be shared. The service was wonderful, friendly and quick. You won’t be leaving hungry for sure. We had the chicken dinner that came with sides choices, sea bream and fish filets as well. The only one area they could improve is to have the place to be better accessible to have a small ramp so the one big step at the main entrance door won’t be an obstacle for wheelchairs/strollers that may require assistance to be lifted up.

Can’t say enough about thrus place. I’ve been going for years and it hadn’t changed a bit since and that’s the way I like it. Great food, great service and friendly atmosphere. Great home Made Portuguese food!

It’s an extremely homey feel. Very subtle, tucked away at the corner of the intersection. As soon as you go in, you’re greeted, seated and served right away. It’s tiny and convenient. The food is simple, yet filling and desirable. Very authentic and clean.

Fresh, healthy Portuguese food at amazing prices. As someone who is new to the cuisine, I could tell by the largely Portuguese clientele that the authenticity of the cuisine served by this establishment. Although the food here was largely bland for my spice loving tastebuds, the peri peri sauce condiment on the table was sufficient to slightly elevate the flavours. Nevertheless, the friendly staff, huge portions and healthiness of the food deserves recognition and I would definitely recommend DaRosa to anyone looking for Portuguese food in the midtown area of Toronto.
