Recently I ordered Albaloo polo and Gardan. Meat was very good but rice quality is not good at all. Rice has some smell that with lots of oil they tried to mask it. It was white rice that was garnished/decorated with soure cherries while albaloo polo should have more cherries but regardless of amount of cherries the rice is not good. I also had ordered Vaziri kebab which was good but again rice has smell of being too old or not well kept… The packaging is good, again meat is good, Food arrived warm. I hope this review helps them to improve their quality and go from good to GREAT 😊 Overall I gave them 4 star.

Darband Express is a fantastic spot for Persian cuisine in Richmond Hill. We tried the lamb neck, and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portion size is generous, easily enough for two people to share, making it great value. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommended for anyone who may love Persian foods!

I had an amazing experience at Darband! Sohail, the manager, was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. His service was outstanding, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The food was top-notch, with exceptional quality and flavors that exceeded my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Overall, 100% satisfaction. I highly recommend Darband to anyone looking for great food and excellent service. Will definitely be returning!

Darband Express is exceptional in every way. The quality of the food is outstanding, with large, generous portions that are always more than enough. What truly amazes me is that the value you receive far exceeds the price—compared to the quality and portions, the pricing is incredibly reasonable. The service is fantastic, and the staff is always kind and attentive. The owner adds a personal touch by including a little extra gift in each order, which makes every experience even more special. As a fan of their Don Mills location, I had high expectations, and I'm pleased to say that this new spot lives up to the hype. The restaurant continues to showcase the authentic Persian flavours that Darband is known for, which keeps me coming back. We decided to try a variety of dishes, and as always, their kebabs were a highlight. The lamb necks, which are one of my boyfriend's favourites, were cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the rice and crispy tadig. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we had more than enough to enjoy. The food quality at Darband is unbelievably good. Every dish we tried was a testament to their dedication to serving authentic Persian cuisine.
