Daon Sushi

First time here and not impressed at all. Should have read the comments before I come. Fish are "OK". Not the freshest. Service are next to none. We ordered the party tray medium size, it came with 95% salmon... Not worth the price.

We came on a Saturday evening and it was very quiet. Food was yummy and fresh. The party trays seem to be on the pricy side so we got other things. They have free wifi. The place was pretty clean.

We've been here several times. Sometimes dining in but usually for takeout. Quality of the food is very good and consistent - we've yet to be disappointed. If they were licensed we'd eat there more often as the service is good and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

I grew up coming to this place frequently but the dishes and prices are not the same as many years ago. It’s now small portion and increased price. It’s just never the same from what I remember… the owner is very nice person and the place is cozy

First and last time coming here. The sashimi fish was warm and tasteless. Fried udon portion was small, chicken meat wasn’t fresh. The best dish was the tempura which was quite crunchy. Only takes debit or cash, and an unofficial handwritten receipt. My mom has a tummy ache before she got home!

Went in for dinner with the family, it wasn’t busy. Just one other table and us. We ordered sushi and shrimp tempura. All food was so fresh and flavourful. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team. It’s just the two of them so it might take a bit more time for dishes to arrive at your table but believe me it’s worth the wait.

We shared the small party tray and it came to under $50 including tax (table of 2 people). As salmon lovers, the party tray was delicious! Plenty of salmon pieces. The salmon sashimi had a perfect ratio of lean to fatty meat and were of a good thickness. The spicy salmon rolls tasted fresh and had a very dry nice crunch to them, which we liked. The sushi chef and the other cook/waitress were jolly and welcoming. The restaurant is a cozy warm place, tucked away in the corner of a busy plaza. Hours are shorter than the rest of the establishments in the plaza, but it’s worth it to eat here! Payment was cash only when we were there. Great place, definitely worth a try! (Picture is after we had already dug into several few pieces of the sushi, we couldn’t wait haha)

Honestly, quite disappointed because their portions for lunch specials is quite small. The beef bulgogi was overwhelmed with sesame oil which is basically what we could taste. Lady didn’t wash her hands after touching cashing!
