I had lunch at Danny's Fish & Chips when I was in Barrie and decided to order the halibut and chips. The portions were reasonable, and the fish was delightful! I highly recommend Danny's Fish & Chips!

Always so great!! The batter is just perfect being light and crispy. The fish so moist and yummy! The chips are chips but good!! Good portion sizes and competitive prices. Always great service.

Danny's Fish & Chips is perfectly crispy and delicately battered fish. The sweetness and sourness of their coleslaw is also perfectly ratioed making it the best, too. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The prices are considered reasonable, especially given the quality of the food. If you’re in Barrie and craving classic fish and chips, it’s a must-try!

Best fish and chips I've had in quite some time. The batter was light and crispy, and the fries were delicious. Very friendly staff. Service was a little bit slow, but we went at an odd time, and there was only one server working. She was very busy and did a great job. Highly recommend 👌

Our first visit to Danny's based on a recommendation from a long time customer. Well we were impressed and the fish & chips were outstanding! We added the shrimp as an appetizer. We recently went to Mrs. H's fish and chips at Wahata Station, don't waste the drive go to Danny's much better! We will be back for sure!

Finally got to experience the hype over Danny's Fish n Chips! Ordered takeout and was ready in 10 minutes. Ordered halibut and chips, shrimp and 3 extra orders of chips for the family. The fish was super fresh, batter light and crispy. The chips were done well, only wish they had salted them as we ate the chips in the car. The shrimp were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked. The staff were also super friendly. Believe the hype when I say this is the BEST fish n chips in Barrie!

Very nice fish and chips. Shrimp is OK, Scallops are Delicious!, both the Haddock and the Halibut were very nice and the fries are great. The batter is very light but flavorful. Milkshakes are fantastic! Prices are about medium range. The environment isn't what you expect of a fish and chips but overall would recommend.
