Daldongnae Korean BBQ (Yonge&Steeles)

I called the location by Pacific Mall at 8 and they told me that they aren’t taking reservations and wait time is around an hour to 90 mins on Dec 27. Thank goodness they told us about the wait time, then I called the Yonge and Steeles location and they told me that there’s no wait time. All their servers are friendly and kind allowed us to take our time to order and you can have limited refills on their size dishes, we didn’t get the chance to experience with the limits were. The meats are high quality meat they charge by 200g per order. I had a little mishap while cooking the oil splashed and hit my head. I got a burnt and I screamed a little the waitress notice immediately and I came over to ask if I was OK and return back with ice for my hand which we never experience at other places they check but that would the end of it. You do have to walk down to the basement to use the washroom which we think it was inconvenience for those was disability or young children.

My husband and I had Kimchi Pancake which was very crispy! For the meats, we had boneless short rib, rib figer meat, pork belly and marinated pork shoulder. The marinated pork shoulder was sweet and savory. Other non-marinated meats were all fresh. Highly recommend boneless short rib. Attentive service throughout the night.

What a nice Korean restaurant, the grill experience was amazing. You can keep refill the sides for free. We ordered pork belly, beef tenderloin and kimchi fried rice. You should order a rice wine if you don’t need to drive. Recommended.

It was super delicious korean BBQ and made the experience truly memorable and our visit special! Staffs continually attended to our table, treated us with kindness and responded to our requests promptly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food in hospitable environment:-)

I'm a big fan of Daldongnae. I tried so many blanch. Personally here is best location for sure. Quality of short ribs is incredible. Most of side dish like cold noodles, seafood pancakes is perfect. Servings are big and worth the price. All food is consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly

Delicious Korean BBQ . Super friendly staffs and fast service. Main entrance located at the back of the building. Free parking site. Thsy do have many locations in North York area. This is located on south of Yonge and steels. Near to the Starbucks. I did not make reservation, I went there around 6:30pm, plenty of seat available. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Very cool spot for some Korean BBQ. It was my first time doing Korean BBQ and Daldongnae did not disappoint. My partner and I had heard of this place from many articles that had been praising the service and food. The atmosphere feels like you’re stepping into a spot that resembles many small restaurants that I’ve visited in Asia. Staff was quick, attentive, and helpful. The food was great and not overly expensive. It was a great dining experience to add into the mix of our regular spots. The staff gave us a great glass noddle dish to try as they were testing it out, we absolutely loved it and hope that they add it to their menu.
