So much food for a decent price. The meat seems a bit pricey at first but there is a lot included within that price. We ordered the marinated pork shoulder, chicken thigh, mushrooms and a side of rice. The mushrooms were just okay.

Love this place, always a great vibe! Wonderfully flavourful and fresh ingredients. Excellent à la carte menu items. Great attentive and uplifting service. The restaurant itself needs a makeover as it's getting pounded by so much business. Waiting area and seating can be crowded and uncomfortable. Lots of wear and tear.

I’ve visited Daldongnae Korean BBQ multiple times, and it never disappoints! The meat is always fresh and high-quality, and the flavors are consistently amazing. The variety of banchan (side dishes) is impressive, and they’re all delicious and well-prepared. The staff here are super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular, they treat everyone with great hospitality. If you’re looking for authentic Korean BBQ with a cozy atmosphere and excellent service, Daldongnae is the place to go. Highly recommended!

A very cozy spot for Korean BBQ in the downtown core. The entrance is easy to miss especially during the evening. There is a full flight of steps upon enterinv the building and once you reach the top, you will need to wait for the host/hostess to seat you. I have been to the other location in Koreatown near Christie subway station and overall, I prefer it over this one. Service here was still fantastic and food was still tasty. The pros of this location would be it's a lot cleaner and newer looking. However, the seating here was a lot tighter and cramped for a party size of three and we were unable to switch to a larger table since those were reserved for larger groups. We dined in on an early Thursday evening and was surprised to learn that there was no time limit for our seats which was nice as we really got to enjoy our meal unrushed and over a nice long conversation. We ordered the beef boneless short rib and the beef hanging tender. I preferred the former. The latter was a bit chewy and not as tender. There were also complimentary side dishes and a steaming hot stew. We also ordered separately, their green onion pancake with seafood which I absolutely love and it's paired so well with their slightly spicy red dipping sauce.

The staff were very friendly and guidance was quick and good. If several people went, the side dishes served at the beginning were small, so we had to pay extra and order several times. The corn had a slightly sour smell. I didn't eat it because it didn't taste good.

My number one go-to Korean BBQ restaurant, and I highly recommend the beef boneless short rib—the quality of the meat is excellent. The set meals come with a variety of side dishes that are both plentiful and delicious, and they always include a hot soup. The corn and egg served on the side of the grill are amazing. After a meal, aside from the BBQ, all the side dishes are tasty, and the best part is that they’re all included in the set meal, so there’s no need to order them separately. This is truly the unique feature of this place. Although it can sometimes be hard to book a spot online last minute, they usually reserve a few tables for walk-ins, so the wait time is usually around 15 minutes, which is very reasonable. I’ve been to four of their branches, and the quality is always the same, with attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended!

A typical k bbq place downtown! The meat portions were a bit small but you get complementary side dishes and soup, which were all tasty. Like most K bbq the meat aren’t seasoned as heavily but you can really taste the freshness of them. We got a soft tofu stew as well and it is probably one of the best ones I’ve had so far in Toronto. The place was bustling, if you are coming during dinner time, you might need a reservation. Personally I think it was a little pricey for what you are getting but overall a great experience!

Probably the best Korean BBQ I have had so far in the Americas, which might mostly be because I don't have a lot of experience with it, but I thought everything was just so good! Among so many restaurants in Toronto, I believe that this is a very good one, especially since my friend, who is an expert in Korean food, took me here. Of course, we went with the famous table BBQ, and right off the bat I enjoyed the format of corn cheese, egg, garlic, and kimchi around the grill, as they would be heated up by the grill itself. And of course, complimentary dishes were always a plus, and I finished all of them. My friend and I picked boneless short rib beef and short plate beef, and both were amazing. We also had the green onion pancakes with seafood and the spicy soft tofu stew. I don't know what else to say other than that they tasted as good as I imagined it to be, because as long as they were authentic, they would be 5 stars in mind, and that fortunately did happen. My apologies for not being more descriptive. If you know what I mean, you know. Of course, we waited for a bit before we could be seated, and the line extended on the staircase, and that was how popular they were. Highly recommended!
