Dairy Queen (Treat)

January 1st at 9:10 PM My husband and I visited the store, but unfortunately, we were not acknowledged for over five minutes while two staff members chatted and attended to other tasks like gathering supplies. Disappointed with the lack of service, we decided to leave and visit the Dairy Queen at Albion and Islington instead.

Awful experience! Had about a 1 inch rip on a twenty dollar Bill they refused it I guess the employee's make there own rules also very rude I put it on Facebook with the pic of the bill people are in shock the date was December 29th 730 pm Will never go back Hashtag better training

Can't order cakes ahead of time. But the staff are pleasant and helpful. It's a small store with no indoor seating so only a handful at most can be in there lining up/waiting before you feel crammed. So you're either taking to go or sitting outside.

I visited Dairy Queen recently and was extremely disappointed to find that the store closed much earlier than advertised. According to their posted business hours, they should have been open until 12:45 AM, but when I arrived at 12:30 AM, the store was already shut. This is not only inconvenient but also misleading for customers who rely on the posted hours. I hope they address this issue to avoid frustrating others in the future.

I've been going to this Dairy Queen since the 90's, its really small and there's no umbrellas for shade to enjoy your ice cream outside because the sun shines there. I usually Ice cream cake in the latter years which in this day is expensive ( $40 ) and received a sliver of the bottom layer. Got ripped off of layers in the cake. $40 for basically ice cream on the top absolutely ridiculous!

I have ordered choco dip strawberry blizzard, but they give me strawberry cheesecake, which contains egg in it, and I am highly allergic to eggs. And we ordered total 5 of same thing, they made all 5 wrong!!! Apart from the blizzard, when we ordered 4 choco dip strawberry blizzard, we wanted to order one more, and the employee was just started to make the order, and we tell them that we want one more. For that one more order, the denied and tell us that you have to wait in line for it. We have waited 20 minutes in line to order again. Also there were two employees working and it seems that one on them was in training, and on that day there was a long line, still the other trained employee was doing nothing not Even taking our order. So it was my very bad experience in this store, I waited for 20 extra minutes, also I got WRONG food which I am highly ALLERGIC of. I was supposed to finish the ice cream, and realized that this is strawberry cheesecake Blizzard. Now I don't know how it gonna react. Please please please make order properly, if you are in training, the other trained employee should have to make sure correct order is prepared or not. I ordered a large strawberry cheesecake blizzard with double the cheesecake pieces and a small vanilla ice cream cup for my dog. The lady over-blended my blizzard, so there were ZERO cheesecake pieces. They were all turned into powder, and they’re the best part!!! She also put on the wrong lid (the kind for a soda drink and not the clear plastic ice cream lid), which didn’t close properly, so the ice cream was melting down the sides of the cup and made a HUGE mess by the time I got home less than 10 minutes later! On top of all that, I paid about $4 more than I do at another location for the exact same order (but the other location actually makes my order correctly)!!! For about $18, I could have bought two pints of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream for myself & a plain vanilla cone from McDonald’s for my dog. If I had, I would not have been disappointed when it came time to eat my rare treat that I decided to splurge on tonight to celebrate some good news. I will not be returning to this location ever again. Update: I decided to give them a second chance because I didn’t want to drive to a farther location during rush hour. Never again!!! How hard is it to make a Blizzard?!?! I paid extra for double the cheesecake pieces. I did NOT get ANY cheesecake pieces in the bottom 2/3 of the cup. Just the top 1/3 had any cheesecake pieces or syrup and the rest was just plain vanilla ice cream. Completely disappointing and NOT AT ALL worth what they’re charging!!!
