Dairy Queen (Treat)

Absolutely awful customer service, I called to get a last minute cake done for a birthday party and the employee on the phone was atrocious. Could not clarify simple things or help me to complete the order it became so bad I ended up just saying forget the whole order and hung up and had to call a different location.

UPDATE: The owner reached out and was very helpful in fixing the situation. I very much appreciate their quick response. Stopped in here the other day to grab a birthday cake. The selection was really good - ended up grabbing a blizzard cake that the sticker said Skor. Topping on top was Skor…. But the blizzard was chocolate chip cookie dough? Wish that would’ve been marked on the sticker as well, because I would’ve chose something different, not a fan of cookie dough. They had enough selection I’m sure we could’ve found something else we wanted. Was expecting a Skor blizzard, especially when paying $40 for a cake.

Ordered a basic birthday cake, picked it up and was extremely disappointed with how plain looking it was and the writing on it looked like a 5 years did it. Definitely not worth the $40…..

Typical DQ experience. Icecream is what you’d expect. This location does not have a full DQ menu though. No burgers at this location.

Sporadic lunchtime drop in for Blizzard for my wife and fries and dog for me. Super friendly staff greeted and served us. Guy managed to custom make to perfection a Blizzard that is obsolete for my wife. We were both so very pleased with the Hartzel Road DQ and recommend it to all!

When someone asked for extra toppings and pays for it you expect it to have extra .. I went through drive thru and got a med oreo blizzard and asked for extra oreoand when I got to the window I made sure to ask that it has extra oreo ! Cus I paid for it this does not have extra oreo .. I called and spoke to a girl and she proceeds to yell me how many scoops is put in ! As I'm telling her it's a vanilla blizzard with a few chunks of oreo .. the costumer service is horrible so I was getting alil upset on the phone cus she is telling me how it's made and not saying sorry ! I just wanted them to know when a customer pays for it put it in ! It's not cheap ! . Then she tells me there new lol so being new they don't know how to put extra oreo ?

I came here today with my kids on a pretty busy time, I found them to be super a accommodating and the owner even decided to bring my food to the table well being extremely busy including offering to bring me water and bring it right to the table. This is definitely a better experience than I've had at many four to five star restaurants. I ordered food and blizzards and they put the blizzards in the freezer for me until I was done eating . Did Out of all the dairy Queens, I'd recommend coming to this one.
