Dairy Queen (Treat)

We visited Dairy Queen just before closing time, and although the store was set to close at 9 PM, Gagan, a staff member, truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. Despite the late hour, she welcomed us warmly and made us a fresh ice cream with so much care and kindness. Her exceptional customer service and thoughtfulness didn’t go unnoticed—it really made our experience memorable. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated to ensuring customers leave happy, no matter the time. Thank you, Gagan, for your amazing hospitality!

Went in-store to place an order for a birthday cake on Wednesday evening and came back to pick up on Saturday Afternoon. The cake I originally ordered was supposed to be a simple “Happy Birthday”, no name and I specifically ordered double cookie layer. I double confirmed my order before leaving. When coming to pick up the cake, the employee originally brought out the wrong order and took a couple minutes longer to find mine. She brought a cake with writing that was completely off-centred, and when I asked why there was a huge space, she told me I “didn’t request for the writing to be in the middle” and that they left space incase I wanted to add anything, but that was never requested. Ended up leaving with another cake they had in the freezers, but a smaller size and without a double cookie layer. Also without writing, wasn’t planning on risking that again. Needless to say, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere next time I need a cake.

Visit this store very often with my family. I must say that they are up to the mark with their service. Always greet with a wide smile and suggest options on the menu. Never disappointed whenever I feel like having a good ice cream.

Best service ever received by this franchise. Anyone craving for ice cream cakes, shakes definitely give here a try and feel like a cloud 9 . Excellent customer experience. I’m so overwhelmed! Thank you so much for the great time I had in dairy queen

I don’t post reviews but I had what I would call a subpar experience at this location. I came by at 9:45pm as my fiancé wanted a s’mores blizzard. When I came to the doors they were already locked. I didn’t mind I was about to walk away and a family came behind me and tugged on the doors- the employee working cash opened the door for them so I also came in. When ordering I was told they had no smored which was no problem so I took literally 2 minutes to pick another flavour and as I’m deciding she is rushing me and telling me “can you hurry up” I told her to please not to rush me and that I’m just looking at what they had, I asked if anything else was OOS and while doing so she kept badgering me about wanting to make the bus and was notably in a rush, I again asked to not be rush she said she wanted to close so she could catch the bus home or they would have to wait about 30 minutes for the next one, I get it I take transit too and I work in service but your business hours say 10pm closing. I was out of the store by 9;55pm. I didn’t even try to argue with her after that interaction I waited for my blizzard and walked out. Needless to say I do not appreciate having to be argued with to order a small blizzard during hours of operation. I’m sure the family that was with me felt the same way watching that unfold. If your staff need accommodations then that should be worked out with management. I don’t fault the employees entirely but I hope that moving forward that type of demeanour can be avoided

Went to you Tomken location in Mississauga today bought 2 dipped cones. We thought something was up since the employee put the cones in the freezer and stood there waiting for a minute. They took them out went to the back and came out with them dipped and wrapped a ton of napkins at the bottom of each. We took them walked out and licked the ice cream and it collapsed as it was basically like water. Obviously the machine was not working properly and the employee instead of being honest made the comes anyway and sold them. They were really good for the ground as they collapsed instantly and couldn’t even stand to be eaten 30sec after purchase. That is a scam! I work for a consumer reporting show that’s syndicated and will definitely feature this issue and your restaurant. It’s also pathetic your response is to ask what store it happened when I clearly stated it’s this store and that’s why I’m reviewing this store. And the link you provided goes to nothing but a wild chase into the void of nobody answering. So I repeat and also point to your comment below..this place is a scam and doesn’t care about your customers. There’s a lot of better places in this area that treats their customers with respect and will make things right is there was an error and won’t give you products from a broken machine and charge $12 for it. Go support those places instead of this location and chain.

Visited the shop recently to try the Brownie and Oreo Cupfection. It was very tasty and satisfying. The employees were polite and quick. The outdoor seating is a nice feature of the shop. Situated right besides the Rathburn road and have plenty of other shops nearby. Had an overall satisfying experience and planning to visit often.
