Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Have ordered here a couple of times now. The staff here is so so friendly, and they actually put their best effort into making your order nice. I appreciate them. Will always order from this location when I get DQ :)

Thanks for the response. 4-5 staffs chit chatting. Body turned opposite from the cash register when customers are coming in or ready to order. No greet, hello, or even a thank you. The lady at cash seems like we are doing her a favour for coming in. I can’t believe 4-5 staff bodies was turned facing the ice cream machine side and not was facing the customer, even when customers are ready to order or coming in.

We got the ice cream sundae and pumpkin blizzard. As always, their top notch and quality ingredients are a reflection of how amazing their products are. Consistent with most Dairy Queen locations. But the one thing that really caught our attention is the gentleman who was working there on 16 Sept 2024, around 3;30 pm. He is the definition of an excellent Canadian customer experience - pleasant, friendly and attentive. You rarely get this type of service anymore especially with the influx of immigrants with the lack of training and culture integration in Canada; however, this guy is a breath of fresh air! Thank you for such wonderful service.

$9 for the most mediocre grilled chicken sandwich ever. I mean, it's an ice cream chain, so you can't expect much. The service is good and the restaurant is clean, though. We ate at the tables outside and the view is pretty nice.

Honestly this location is incredible - by far the best grill and chill I've had. Dine in is of course best and service is fantastic, but I typically order off Uber eats and orders have always been packed/prepared well. For those that don't know, DQ actually has really good fast food burgers and fries, and there's truly no better dessert than a blizzard! Theres clearly a high level of QC that they uphold at this location and I've never really been dissapointed with an order here.

The views outside of this DQ location are stellar, even if they look over a busy road. The location needs a facelift - the decor and seating area are dated and uncomfortable. The service counter is awkward and the line ups get scramble quite easily. The service is nice and fast.

Service here is fast and friendly, and the pandemic didn’t cause the team here to miss a beat in churning out summer lineups. However, I have noticed that the ice cream melts really fast as opposed to at other locations. The last blizzard I had came out soupy and definitely could not be flipped. Despite this, I look forward to returning, as otherwise, the quality of food here (cakes, hot menu, etc) is fantastic.

After 4 years this place still has very good ice cream, overpriced but good. Staff still didn’t change, still rude as usual. I try to avoid this place as much as I can but my son loves it. I still try to get him at Baskin Robins or Scooped because it worth a lot more, not only in price but also in service.
