Granted, it's the holiday season, but the building would still be beautiful without the lights. Upon entering, you're greeted with a traditional pub bar. I only gave 4 stars on the atmosphere as the rest of the interior didn't give you that pub experience. Although, it fit the bill. The server was prompted to take my order. I ordered a local beer, and the 2 piece fish and chips. Wow! Almost too much food, but I had no problem devouring it... It was one of the best I've had. Crunchy exterior, perfectly cooked fish, and the "chips" were a texture I hadn't experienced before. That's a good thing. The chips had more of a tater tot flavor that is hard to explain. They were crispy and airy, but not dry. Overall, I'd highly recommend you give it a try.

One of the best Irish Pubs in GTA. Not very fancy but looks very authentic. Prices are very reasonable.

Had a great time at Cuchulainn's Irish Pub Open Mic Night! The talent was amazing, with a mix of acoustic and full-band performances. Drinks were excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A fun, lively atmosphere—definitely recommend it for a great night out!

This place is definitely worth a try!! Ignore the bad reviews because the Irish chips with garlic alone are a good enough reason to go. Been going here for years, it’s the perfect spot for a casual meal and some drinks. There was a peach summer salad that i still dream about. It’s always packed in the summer and so fun to go for karaoke or other events like trivia. And the servers are always friendly and wonderful despite busy nights. Plus- the current Christmas decor is so cute and cozy!!

Something’s gone wrong in the kitchen. We’ve attended this restaurant occasionally for over 20 yrs. There’s been a steady decline in the food. I ordered the Shepherd’s Pie, which is generally a safe bet. The dish was easily 85% mashed potatoes that went straight to the bottom of almost the entire dish. The rest of the ingredients were added in a ring around the outer edge like a gravy. I’m not over exaggerating by stating I don’t think there was a full tablespoon of ground beef included, more like a gravy with small bits of vegetables. Several weeks ago I attended and ordered Guiness Stew. More like Guiness Gravy - virtually NO meat present. I’m not exaggerating, I’m a fair person and have eaten in many types of restaurants in this world - very expensive to roadside greasepit. If you can’t run a proper kitchen, then close it down. It’s the beer that pays the rent anyhow. And I know very well they’re aware of these recurrent issues because I personally have reported them to management. I’ve addrd a picture of what I was served, after the huge volume of mashed potatoes was scooped out. As you can see, the rest of what I was served barely covered the bottom of the dish. *****RE OWNER RESPONSE***** In fact I absolutely DID bring my server directly to our table and showed her EXACTLY what I was served…nothing was done about it. Furthermore, our ginger ale was flat and tasted awful…that was promptly returned. Use bottles or cans, they’ll taste right. Also, my wife had hardly any fries served to her - JUST LIKE LAST TIME. She even told our server about that WHILE WE ORDERED. Your comment about closing and putting 20 ppl out of work is sarcastic and unhelpful; you SHOULD be listening to your multiple reviewer complaints. This experience is NOT an accident in the kitchen, it’s happened MULTIPLE times to us over time and it’s happened to MULTIPLE clients. If your selling Shepherd’s Pie, the entire dish should be filled with meat and vegetables with a TOPPING of potatoes. This kitchen and the food it serves is a Martian Landscape Vs. it’s food 20 yrs ago. Keep serving like this and YOU will put 20 ppl out of work.

Prices on the menu are completely different than what they charge. We noticed it after paying for our first round. When we pointed it out to our server, she claimed to be equally confused as all menus had the same prices and it's not that we were accidentally given an older one. She said she would look into it. But then the next round one again had the same higher prices on the check!

I was there for lunch on a Saturday. We waited over 2 hours for food. The wait stadd said it would be a little slower, because of a big group that came in before us. But rather than being good hosts and giving updates, the wait staff were frustrated, forgot drinks, and made mistakes on orders. When the food finally arrived, it was fine, but serious appetite made us all eat it pretty quickly. It may be a great pub, and service may be good at other times, but we had a bad experience. The Veggie burger was fine.
