We came here for dimsum and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was large and the decor was a little over the top. However, the service was excellent and the dimsum variety was plentiful. The ingredients in the dumplings were of great quality and quantity. We were happy with every dish we ordered and the service was prompt. Will come back again!

First I want to say that the atmosphere was very good. It was loud enough for you to have a private conversation but not loud enough that you cant hear each other. Interior is also very clean and unique. Now to get into the food. All the dishes tasted good but doesnt blow you away. To start off with the duck course. It comes in two courses the first is sliced breast with wraps and a variety of fried vegetables. The flavors were there but not so strong. Especially for the fried vegetables I would say their only purpose is to add more crunchy texture. The second course is stir-fried duck with lettuce wrap. I personally enjoyed it more cause it had more flavor and the cuts were somewhat uniform. The squid tentacles were well seasoned with a grilled type of aroma. The fried custard ball was also very delightful because if the rich creamy custard and can crispy yet chewy exterior. There was also a carrot looking dish which actually had meat inside and similar texture to the sesame ball. The rest of the dishes were well made but nothing really stuck out. The service was very good because the servers were walking by very frequently which made it easy to ask for water, utensils and sauce. They were also very helpful explaining the menu when we were confused about the dish description on the menu. Lastly the price is.. well we came to eat duck and dim sum so we knew it was going to be pricey. The total was 200 after tax. Each person was about 50 dollars. Closing statement: The food is satisfactory but I wouldn’t consider it Fine Dining.

Food is decent but I am leaving a bad review because the staff was very rude to us. Receptionist was yelling at us when we made a reservation and the waiter had the audacity to tell us we didn't tip enough. It's a shame they think they are entitled to a high tip. We left her an extra tip after she said that so she has money to pay her rent but we will definitely not be returning. Please train your staff better.

The papaya tomato & mushroom soup is delicious. It’s sweet and full of umami flavor. The chicken was not tender and the portion is small. The sweet and sour pork on the ice is purely a gimmick. It doesn’t taste great and most importantly, there’s no meat, only the batter. The beef short rib is also meh. The lobster and the scallop and broccoli are just average. The highlight is actually the dessert, the red bean soup with sago. It’s not too sweet and thick but not starchy like you’d find in most of the other restaurants. The service is really good though.

Food: 4 Stars Service: 3 Stars Ambience: 3 Stars Value: 3 Stars Overall: 3.25 Stars Crown Prince Fine Dining and Banquet offers a pleasant experience for dim sum enthusiasts. I visited for a casual weekend brunch, expecting a mix of traditional and modern dishes, and I wasn't disappointed. The food quality is notably good, with fresh ingredients that stand out in each dish. The tea selection complements the dim sum well, enhancing the overall dining experience. Service at Crown Prince is decent, though not exceptional. The staff were polite and relatively attentive, but there were moments where I felt the response time could have been quicker, especially considering the restaurant wasn't at full capacity. Despite this, the overall atmosphere was calm and enjoyable, making it a comfortable place to dine. One of my favourite dishes was the milk egg tarts. They come with bird's nest on top, which, while luxurious, I felt was an unnecessary addition to an already delightful dessert. The tarts are creamy and rich, making them a highlight of the meal. However, it's worth noting that the pricing here is on the higher side, which might be a consideration for those looking for more affordable options. In summary, Crown Prince Fine Dining and Banquet is a nice place for a decent dim sum experience. The food is fresh and of good quality, with some standout dishes like the milk egg tarts, though the prices may be a bit steep for some. If you're looking for a more upscale dim sum outing with great tea and a pleasant atmosphere, this place is worth a visit. kellychan360

Have not been here since about 7 years because of bad service of running after you for more tips. Well, today I return to check them out. Their new menu items I tried was a bit disappointing- ie, the shark fin seafood with chicken soup ($24) tasted and looked more like your “Hot & Sour soup”. Scammed! At least this time they did not run after you for tips but suggested a minimum of 12%. They also accept credit and imposed a tea charge of $2.50 for lunch?

Used to come here when I was small and now saw that they reopened as a fine dining restaurant This presents as a high end restaurant both in atmosphere and price. However at least with the price you get generous portion sizes that don't "cheat" but putting random crap under your food to prop it up. The service is friendly and attentive. I had a server out of nowhere notice my plate was full of bones etc and instinctively came with a new plate to swap out. As mentioned before serving size is representative of the price. Their Har Gow (Shrimp Dumpling) are massive. I was also very surprised with some twists on traditional Chinese dimsum such as the Fish Paste Rice Roll with ACTUAL Black Truffle! Yumm Give them a try, but be forewarned, I highly suggest you call ahead and rsvp *edit* came here for dinner the other day and the quality and service is just as good as the dimsum service. Portion sizes are very reasonable and the house soup (fish soup with mushroom, papaya & tomato) was absolutely delicious
