I have been eating here since 1985. Love the place. The food and people are just amazing. My children love it and now my Grandchildren. In fact my 5 year old Grand daughter is always asking to go there. :) Try and you will not be disappointed. When my family comes from England they insist we go there. They say it's better than any fish n chips there. :)

Found another gem on the Lakeshore. Mom and Pops store since the 70s. Excellent fish and Chips. We enjoyed it and took some to our pets ... dog and cat love fish

Amazing Fish and Chips and owner confirmed that they don’t use Alcohol in batter. We ordered Halibut and haddock and both were amazing. Usually I don’t reorder but Halibut was so amazingly tasty that I had to order it one more time. My search of good fish and chips in Canada now ends.

Good old fashioned fish and chip as well as other variety of seafood. Their batter is quite crispy. Appeared to be a mom and pop run establishment which I love supporting, especially in my area. If you like seafood, it's definitely worth trying.

I loved this place! I’m not a fan of fish and chips, but I can do this place again. My wife is a fan and she loved this place. It’s a nice family owned joint and it shows. The host and hostess are nice, warm and welcoming. Very glad I found this place.

This is a wonderful fish and chip shop in Port Credit! I had the haddock and chips with a side of mushy peas. Delicious, perfectly fried, great portion. Malt vinegar on the table was the capper. The staff were charming and even gave me a little grin when I asked if the peas were mushy, like we shared a little, special secret. I highly recommend Country Fish and Chips!

Staff was friendly. Food was good. Had fish and chips and mozzarella sticks. $50 total for two people Small dining area. A long established part of port credit. Offers takeout. EDIT: The restaurant could use some updating, but is still worth a visit if you are in the mood for classic fish & chips.

Worst fish and chips I have ever had. I couldn't believe it when I opened the boxes. Fish was at the bottom of the box with a load of soggy, oily chips on top. Everything was saturated in oil. Half the batter was missing on two pieces of fish and whatever batter was left on it was dripping with oil. Almost $50 for food we couldn't even finish because it was so oily. Terrible.
