Great atmosphere with friendly, attentive and good humoured servers, but the steak just wasn’t good and it seems like the kitchen doesn’t have great quality control. I ordered the dry aged rib eye medium rare as did one of my friends. My friend’s ribeye came out medium rare as expected, however mine came super rare. When I pointed this out to the server he took my plate back to the kitchen and it came back essentially the same but slightly warmer. I tried the steak anyway and it was super chewy and didn’t have much marbling at all giving a really meaty flavour. I would personally just fork over the extra money at a more upscale restaurant for a nicer steak if I’m going out of my way for a nice dinner. I will say the steak tartare was amazing. Some of the best I had with amazing duck fat toast and if I had only come here for the tartare and drinks I would’ve left satisfied. Unfortunately I came here for a steak. I would also highly recommend the chocolate mousse it was also fantastic.

Possibly the best beef tartar (with fries) I've had in a long time. Rest of the meal is alright. Skip the desserts. Not worth waiting more than 40 minutes for a seat in this crowded establishment.

My wife and I chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner and it didn’t disappoint. We went on a Monday around 6:30 pm to avoid any long wait time as other reviews or videos stated. Our wait time was only 30 mins which was not bad at all. When we got in we were greeted by a friendly host who showed us to our table. The restaurant itself is pretty small and the table we sat at was tight but it worked. The restaurant had a very cozy feel to it. We started off with the escargot and beef tartare. Both are great choices, the escargot was made in a garlic butter that was addicting to keep eating bread with and the beef tartare was rich and creamy especially with the added egg yolk. We did need extra bread to finish it off but was unaware that it was an extra charge when it was offered to us. The charge was minimal but it would be nice to know ahead of time before agreeing to it. The mains that we got was the steak and frites and the prime rib made to medium rare. Both options are great but my wife and I preferred the prime rib over the steak as it had more flavour. The service that was provided was exceptional, all servers on the floor came by to check on us and see how everything is. There wasn’t a time where we had to wait for anything. If we do end up coming back we would like to try other stuff on the menu as they also looked good.

What an incredible, unexpected surprise! From the moment we walked in, everything was just perfect. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. Every dish was a masterpiece, with flavors that were fresh and vibrant. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the attention to detail in each plate was impressive. From appetizers to dessert, everything was just amazing. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

When you come to a place like this, you know what to expect. The steaks were superb as was the beef tartare and escargot. The heirloom tomatoes were also super fresh and very refreshing. Unfortunately the sourdough bread that came with the dish was drenched in grease and burnt a bit too much. I’d consider coming back with more people to try the 48oz one. The restaurant is very small and other than one table at the back, mostly sits just 2 people so not the best place for large groups. I hope they can expand to a bigger space with more outdoors seating to bring out more of that Parisian vibe.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, and was happy to have finally made it. With their large extended patio, it's much easier to get a seat than it was in the past. The beef tartare that nearly every review mentions is definitely worth the hype. The tartare itself is amazing and the duck fat toast accompanies it perfectly. The steaks are delicious and well-prepared. The cherry on top for me was that they serve bottles of Mexican coke as well. There were a few wasps on the patio that would not leave us or the other patrons alone, so keep that in mind. All in all, a great experience!

Had a great time here for lunch. The restaurant is very small and skinny so definitely try to get a reservation if you are looking for dinner or a weekend. The vibe was cozy though, and not too hot the day that we went but it is warmer by the back near the kitchen. The food was great. Should probably come with 3-4 people and share your plates for the optimal experience. My drink (watermelon man) was just okay. Servers were very attentive and lovely. Happy to return in the future.

This is my second time visiting this French restaurant. The first time, I couldn't stop thinking about their beef tartare. It's the best I've had in Toronto, and I highly recommend it. The raw beef pieces are large, and it contains whole Sichuan peppercorns and chive-like leaves. The bread, toasted in a pot, is incredibly fragrant. The steak is of average quality, but the variety of vegetables is rich and very delicious. The only downside is that reservations are not allowed, the tables are too small, and you cannot bring outside food in.
