The food is really good! I would 100% go there again. The reason it's 4 stars, however, is because the wait time is too long and the servings are a bit small. I ordered abula, and it was finger licking good, but I waited for a whole hour. The staff are really nice as well!

Very nice jollof, well served and hot. Unfortunately, the timing you'll receive as a wait time is far from the actual time you'll have to wait. However, the timing shouldn't be an issue because you wanna be served right and well regardless of time.

I never believed one can go bad with Egusi soup. Jeez! From the horrible tasting palm oil, to the fat ridden pieces of meats, everything was horrible. Don't get me atarted with the huge amount of salt and palm oil in the soup. Lord have mercy! My husband and I couldn't go past 3 balls of swallow and i felt terribly guilty for subjecting my taste buds as wells as my health to such great disservice. Never again!

From the beginning we did not get any menu, but the server really nice. We ordered fufu with goat Afang soup and goat Egusi soap. The presentation of the food was good. But the food was horrible. The meat was so hard, the soup did not have any flavours and the fufu was inedible. We expected a lot from this place as it had really good reviews and we tried the same dishes the past. At least the server could have recommended some thing else if these dishes were not good. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The fried fish is delicious and the service is fantastic. The owner is very kind and the food comes out fast. They also had fun YouTube videos (like Americas got talent) playing to entertain everyone.

I was really excited when my friend brought me for lunch. The service was meh. The food was good, not amazing. The portion was great but the food was room temperature and seriously lacked flavor. It was if they cooked with no spice at all. Disappointing when Nigerian food is normally packed full of flavour and spice. When I asked for pepper sauce, they brought me Frank's Red hot sauce!! I felt offended at that point lol I would go back and give them a second shot BC I have heard good reviews - maybe the day I went was an off day?

The best tasting egusi and pounded yam I’ve had at a restaurant in Canada. Great ambience, amazing staff and even better food. Ample parking available. You can call to make a take-out order.

Tasty jollof is definitely the best restaurant I have visited here in the GTA. The variety of fresh meals being prepared are finger-licking good, the customer service is amazing and I always get value for my money’s worth. I usually order Amala & Ewedu, Efo riro, Suya, Ewa goyin, Buka stew, Lunch/Dinner platter amongst others. And by the way, the location is very convenient.
