Decent tasting HK cafe, not too busy. The beef with Chinese brocolli here was fairly good. Pricing was fair as well.

Tasty n fresh but portion for noodle and rice dish brutally SMALL. Rice n noodles are not expensive unless they did that to us only. 2 adults and 4 children. Had to order more than usual and kids complained they didnt eat enough had to get bubbke tea after bc we felt bad. Servers sufficient not friendly tho. Environment felt dead. Hardly anyone there for Sunday afternoon.

Wow, in all the 茶餐廳 I've been too, the 奶茶 here is by far the worst. As soon as the cup of 奶茶 was served, I already knew it was no good. Too dark, no milk colour. As soon as you take a sip, the first couple of seconds you can taste they were conserving the amount of tea used. Not enough tea flavour, and the blend of tea is no good. I had to double take whether I ordered 鴛鴦 instead of 奶茶. Food however was ok and not too expensive.

One must order the Cantonese Chow mein. No bbq pork (but that is how we enjoy it) Flavoured well and not greasy or overloaded with sauce (perfectly balanced of crispy and soft noodles) This dish was so delicious that we pretty much ate most of it before I realized to take photos of our food! We also ordered: 👍Deep fried chicken wings 1x plain 1x salted-both superb! Highly recommend ordering! 👍Shrimp spring roll -excellent 👍Beef noodle roll-meat was firmer than expected but my hubby liked it. We would order again 👍Seafood Congee -good for the price —has octopus so my little one did not enjoy the flavour as much. Pricing is excellent and food is delicious 😋 this was a great find in our local Plaza by the Costco. We would definitely eat here again.

The food was great, kudos to the server (a very gentle old man) that told us how many plates were enough. The place was empty, which makes me sad. I hope they actually make good business because in price/portion this place is worth it. Will be coming back!

The name has changed from "garlic onion" to "Congee House Restaurant". The menu is different from before. The amount is also less than before. The taste is a bit more than average. I would have given it 5 stars if the amount was larger, usually Asin restaurants give a bigger amount for that value. Prices are averaging $ 17 per plate. The washrooms are small but clean. Can have 2 people at a time. The washroom is accessible for special need people. Their service was good and the person was around us most of the time. It's a good place to take your friend for a quick meal. Enjoy your meal :)!
