Great spot for a group gathering, or night time hangout with food and drinks! Drinks’ price point is on the higher end compared to similar bars but not unreasonable. Decent variety on menu. Food was delicious. Seating was fairly comfortable. Recommended dishes: Oden, soy marinated crab, the drinks, and desserts

Very good Korean restaurant. The service was great and their plating was beautiful. I really recommend their seafood udon, their sauce is very creamy with a strong truffle flavor. Their seafood pancake was also delicious, crispy with lots of seafood. Their pork appetizer is for people who love garlic, the sauce is sweet and salty. Overall, a great place for dinner!

I’ve passed by this spot so many times and finally decided to come here for a weeknight dinner. We got here over an hour early for our reservation but the staff kindly accommodated us. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I really liked the udon and the seafood pancake.

Came here on a friday night & the vibes were on point! they had a live dj playing good music! the lay out of the place is really nice and welcoming! food was amazing! got the burger & chicken karaage. Cocktails were good too & can’t forget about the amazing service! definitely will be coming back with more of my friends!

🌟 Tao's Google Restaurant Reviews 🌟 Really cool Korean inspired eats and drinks here. I had seen their advertisements on Instagram and Tik Tok and knew I had to come. They were very accommodating with reservations and you're free to message them on IG as well. We ended up seating 6 and getting the: Garlic butter fries - really delicious, highly recommend this as a shareable. Spicy pork kimbap - was nice and moist, pretty decent. Spicy raw crab - really depends on your taste profile. It's actually not too spicy and was tasty, though I thought it was a bit pricey for the amount you're getting. Beef tartare - also one of their highlights of the menu, I thought the taste was quite mild and mainly you were experiencing the texture with it. The kimbap served with it was nicely made though. Truffle udon - I highly recommend this one! Super creamy and carbonara-like, one of our favourite dishes. Traditional tteokboki - pretty decent, can help supplement your calories. LA Kalbi - one of our favourites too, very juicy and served still warm on a hot plate. Strawberry makgeolli - they came out with cups with strawberries and boba for you to pour in! Overall, I really enjoyed our experience here. I would get the ones that I highly recommended again. Service was very nice too. I can tell the detail put into the restaurant, nice high quality plates etc. I'd say the one thing, and probably not as controllable during the summer, was that there were a few bugs/flies that got in our experience despite sitting inside. 🍲Food: 4.5/5 🧑‍🍳Service: 5/5 🍴Atmosphere: 4.5/5 FINAL SCORE 4.5

If you are looking for more of a fancy vibe for korean food this is the place. Food tasted good and atmosphere is nice. It is on the pricier side compared to other korean restaurants but I would say it’s a nice place to go for a date especially because the music is not too loud. My only complaint is that the tables are a bit hard to get into if you sit on the booth side because you have to move the table out since the table leg blocks you from scooting in

I was looking forward to trying this place out from hearing about it from friends and seeing their stuff online. In my experience, the restaurant is not very organized and service wasn’t great. Made a dinner reservation here and when we checked in, we were told that they were going to put us at this small bar counter facing the street. We pushed back on that because we made a standard dinner reservation and we weren’t told ahead of time or selected bar seating. We were seated instead at this table at the very back of the restaurant beside the staircase to the washroom. The ceiling lights in this area of the restaurant looked like they haven’t been replaced and it was pretty dark. We ordered their premium makgeolli, and the server didn’t know what it was. I had to point it out to him on the menu. After that, we waited a while for anyone to come back to our table and check on us. There was a group of guests that just sat down beside our table and somehow they were able to get their orders taken and food served before anyone even checked back with us to take our order. The food itself is fine, but nothing really special out of what I had if I compared it to other similar restaurants I’ve been to elsewhere in the city. There’s really no reason for me to return here, and I can’t recommend this place based on the experience I had.

Came here for Summerlicious 2024. The price for the set menu was good, however the main dishes were okay, I think we were expecting more with the reviews but I think we just needed to order something different. The appetizers and desserts were good. Also loved that there were 2 drinks included in the meal. Service was great, they checked in with us several times.
